Nike Snowboarding Vernon Jacket - Men's - 2010 BCS
Love rocking the lumberjack-style flannel/vest look but hate getting soaked in stormy weather? Look no further than the Vernon 3-in-1 Jacket from Nike Snowboarding. 10K-rated waterproof fabric and fully taped seams seal out moisture, while the 600-fill down vest keeps you warm on all but the most brutal days. The modular design lets you rock the vest or waterproof flannel separately or together, depending on the conditions (and whether you feel like mixing it up with something else in your wardrobe).

hey i'm 6 foot 160 lbs and was wondering if the small would fit right. other reviews say that the jacket is baggy.

Hey Bro - Even though I noticed your question was submitted like 10 months ago and you probably don't care anymore; I thought I'd still try to shed some light. If you (or someone your size/build) bought the SMALL, I'm thinking it might be a little too snug (especially with more than your base under it) - and the lengths (body/sleeves) a bit too short.
I'm 6' and 200 athletic lbs when I'm in shape - but about 230 lbs as I write this. I bought a LARGE and it fits me pretty perfectly. Like most pieces of snowboarding outerwear, the jacket was cut to allow for comfortable layering. I've tried the jacket on with a base and a mid-weight (heavy side of mid-weight) fleece and didn't feel constricted. Since the outer vest was intended to be worn over the jacket, if you rock it alone, it does fit huge. All-in-all: I'd probably not recommend you go any smaller than MEDIUM - although if you grabbed the SMALL, the vest would probably still work for you worn casually over a t-shirt - and you could sell the jacket to one of your 5'8" homies! LOL
Hope this helps someone!

the level of detail on this jacket is unbelievable,
but i prefer removable wrist gaiter(maybe im not used to it), and pass pocket
but i can live without it,
and i think my burton jacket is a little bit warmer than this jacket.
buy it, this jacket is awesome though

5'8 185 went with the medium. Sizing runs a little long.

I'm 5'8 185. Will a L be too large? I like it to be a little baggy. I've just been reading the reviews and they keep saying it's too long.

Does the powder skirt have a jacket to pants interface? If so, how does the interface work?
September 11, 2011
Yes, I does... It's a snap and loop closure system v. a zip in system. If you're looking at the jacket def take note that it runs long, both arms and length otherwise it's spot on (ie the shoulders). I ended up sizing down because they didn't have my size in the black and grey and I'm still have happy.

Is the hood removable, and in addition how do the sizes run??? I'm a solid Medium in Burton, Holden, and North Face.

The hood isn't removable and it runs true to size, it is a little on the longer side
