Mountain Hardwear Micro Power Stretch Crew - Women's

Item # MHW1595

The Mountain Hardwear Women's Micro Power Stretch Crew is more than a base layer shirt. It is a wicking, fuzzy-soft, stretchy, quick-drying machine that accompanies you on every ski day, backpacking evening, and everything in between. A smooth, trim fit layers easily with your outer jacket, and chafe-free flatlock seams won't bunch up under pack straps or hip belts.

Bottom Line:

A smarter layer.

WARM!!!

This top keeps me really warm. The wind does not go through it. I can just wear it on its own, or under my clothes. I love it.

Like a hug

This shirt is a gift for sore shoulders from climbing. I'm 5'5" and about 130. The small fit perfectly and was a welcome warm and breathable layer for morning climbs.

Finally a shirt for curvy women

I am 5'3", 135 lbs, athletic, not chunky by street standards, but have a very difficult time fitting into outdoor gear, which is often made for more boyish builds. I bought a medium shirt--the color is very much as-is from the picture on the screen and it fits like a dream. Plenty of room in the chest, so I don't have the dreaded uni-boob look. The sleeves are a pinch too long, but I'm not wearing it to the office, so that's fine. Also, there is plenty of length in the torso--it comes down to my hips. Plenty of room in the waist without looking too bunchy or big. I would say that if you have an hourglass shape, this is a great shirt. Oh, and it is so warm and cozy! I wish I'd had it for skiing in the Alps last week.
