Mountain Hardwear Lodown Down Jacket - Men's

Item # MHW1927

The Mountain Hardwear Men’s Lodown Down Jacket has the skinny on compressible warmth. The Lodown’s 650-fill goose down pumps up the warmth whether you’re shredding powder or raging the après scene, and underarm zips dump heat when needed. The artsy stitching lends some casual style, and the included stuff sack stores the Lodown in your pack during backcountry missions.

Bottom Line:

Get the Lodown.

I'm looking for a down jacket that has a bungee cord or something

I'm looking for a down jacket that has a bungee cord or something to cinch down the hem at the waist. Anybody know if this or any other of the Mountain Hardware jackets have something like that?

Nice jacket

Got this new version of the Lodown jacket. The problem with the short arms was about the previous model.
The jacket is very nice, enough long, with handwarmer pockets and nice collar .
This jacket is longer, heavier but also warmer than the TNF Thunder jacket, and also seems to have a more durable outer fabric.
The jacket does not have underarm zips as listed, and I didn’t receive the stuff sack.
The jacket has two side pockets, one chest pocket outside (quite small) and one inside.
I’m not sure how much compressible this jacket is, but I’m overall happy with the jacket and the fit.
Next week I’m going try it skiing, under a shell jacket.

The Zonal and the compression fit small. In those styles I needed the XXL. I am 6'4"190 lbs. Does the lodown fit the same way.

Hi there Jim. You sound like a big gentlemen, and I believe that you should play it safe with the XXL. It is better to have a bit more room, than for the Lowdown Jacket to be tight. Good Luck. Jeff Levin
