Mountain Hardwear Enterprise Backpack - 1850cu in

Item # MHW2098

The Mountain Hardwear Enterprise Backpack seamlessly switches between 'work' and 'real-life' modes. (We prefer to think of work as a temporary setback to our recreation schedule). Features burly HexRip fabric and fully bound seams to maximize durability, and padded pockets to protect your laptop, gadgets, and sunglasses.

Bottom Line:

A functional, durable pack you can use for work AND play? Make it so.

Better than Northface!

By:

I've been lugging this beast of a bag around everyday for three years in college and it has held up so much better than my Northface Heckler did. There are no signs of wear, even after pushing it around, cramming it under seats, brushing up against rocks, and many, many heavy rain storms. On a recent trip to Montana I was even able to cram an extra 15 pounds of clothing into it so I could check my other bag. With so many pockets it can get a little large but its great not to have to carry around an additional bag full of books when planning to spend the day in the library.
I would happily buy this bag all over again if I had to.

okay

I use this pack mostly for school and it's not a terrible pack. Does a great job at equalizing the weight so it does not hurt the lower back or sit unevenly on the shoulders. I especially like the plastic back that adds additional protection for he stuff inside as well as keeps books from stabbing me in the back. However, it isn't as durable as I would have hoped and after only a year of use it has a hole by one of the zippers from just everyday use.
