Great hoody, recommended!

The Lakeside is fitted to the body, though it does fit well both on it's own and when worn under a coat. It is warm and the fluffy lining gives the fleece a very cozy, comfortable feel. The sleeves end right at my wrist instead of coming down over the tops of my hands, so wearing this on its own without gloves can leave you with freezing fingers because you can't pull the sleeves down over your palms but I am also taller than most and have a longer reach so it may only be an issue with some wearers. Otherwise and overall, this hoody is my favorite warmth layer. It looks sleek, the hood is deep enough to be comfortable without flopping down over my eyes, and it blocks enough wind and cold to be effective as a light coat.
I've run in it as well as worn it on short hikes and it kept me warm during both without making me feel like I was clammy or overheated. You would need a different layer for any kind of intense cold-weather activity however because this jacket has no sweat-wicking tech at all. I recommend a nice sweat-wicking base layer for underneath it.
Good quality, excellent jacket...good for lounging and layering and hiking, all of it.
