Mammut Lucido TXLite Headlamp
At only 2.5 ounces, there’s no reason not to throw the Mammut TXLite Headlamp in your pack for everything from multi-pitch rock routes to long day hikes. The single, superbright LED features three different brightness settings, a tiltable housing, and a lightweight, easy-adjust band for full minimalist functionality.
Bottom Line:
One of the ten essentials you don’t want to leave behind.
Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

I routinely use mine in pouring rain without issue. Unless you're planning to swim underwater with it, it'll function just fine.

Seriously...read the instructions before just trying to figure things out. I, too have the older one. The 3rd light setting is attained by a) being in the 2nd brightest setting and b) holding down the button for 2-3 seconds. No, its not the simplest way to get to the 3rd setting but it works.
Change me.
