Luna Sports Clothing Wool Warm-Up Jacket - Women's - 2011 BCS
So we can't lie; we are extremely impressed with the Luna Sports Wool Warm-Up Jacket. After all, it gets no better than 100% merino wool construction. The beauty of merino is its ability to transfer moisture, retain warmth when wet, and not smell like a wet dog in a boiled cabbage factory after a hard day of training. Wear the Wool Warm-Up Jacket during a cool autumn ride or a crisp morning run through the woods—or just out on the town. Either way, warmth, comfort, and style will be right there with you—sounds like a good gig to us.
- Wide fleece at hem for added comfort and sleek fit
- Fleece-lined collar and cuffs along with cozy zippered pockets add both warmth and comfort
- Chromed, full-length two-way zipper for excellent functionality and style

I too am impressed with this jacket! I've used it for walking in ~45F temperatures and was quite comfy after I warmed up a little. I've also used it as a layer for cold weather biking. With a long sleeve base layer, short sleeve jersey, and a wind-proof vest, this helped keep me warm with temps down to freezing.
It looks good enough to wear around town too. The fabric has a bit of stretch, so if you're between sizes, you CAN size down, but will probably be more comfortable in the next size up. Fits true to size chart.
LOVE the skye color - very pleasing to the eye.

I absolutely LOVE this jacket. Its "nice" enough looking for going out and wearing around town but I've also worn it for bike commuting. Garment fit is fitted but not overly tight and very flattering. And as someone with long arms, the longer sleeves with thumb holes are awesome. Debating buying it in the other color as well actually...
What are the lengths and widths (a-a) of the l and xl? Thank you!

Picked this up on Bonktown and feel like I got the steal of the century. It's really nice quality wool, good stitching, a lovely feminine (but not super-tight) cut, and the Skye color is drop-dead gorgeous. More of a purple color than blue...kind of a light shade of Tanzanite, if you're familiar with that gemstone. LOVE it. Fits true to size chart recommendations.

Got this for my GF on BT - looks like Luna's clothing line is shutting down, which is a shame. This is a really great piece. She loves the color (skye blue), and the fit is really nice (she's 5'9", 143, got a medium). It's a bit heavier than I thought it would be - the 400g rating is for the weight of wool, not the weight of the jacket. It's about 20 ounces on my scale. What's really nice about it is that it has both thumbholes and pockets - makes it quite versatile as a jacket or a midlayer. Definitely not a baselayer though - way too heavy, and some of the interior seams would be a bit uncomfortable against the skin, in my opinion.
