Louis Garneau Corsa Short - Men's
The Corsa Bib Shorts are the creme de la creme of bib shorts from Garneau. And even though they donít cost as much as many of our other pro-level bibs, we believe these bib shorts to be competitive with almost any pair of bibs we sell, theyíre that good.
At the heart of the Corsa Bibs is Louis Garneauís 4 Motion chamois. Its woven polyester construction offers a high degree of stretch -- in four directions as they note -- which ultimately helps the pad mold to your contours and move with you, increasing your comfort. Mesh vents and channel vents help to move moisture away from your body to keep your skin dry and chafe-free. Multi-thickness, high density foam places more padding where you need it most and reduces it in the areas where it isnít as necessary. All this work makes the chamois fit naturally, as if it's not even there. However, the comfort level after a few hours in the saddle tells you otherwise.
The Corsa Bib Shorts offer the greatest degree of compression of all of Louis Garneauís shorts. Lycra Power is used in many locations through the eight-panel design. Panels made from Speedtech improve wicking due to the lightweight weave and yet offer incredible sun protection, with an SPF of 50. Carbon-X Mesh and Lazer Rev aid in compression and fabric resilience to make the bibs provide excellent compression and a long life; truly, these bibs are so light in feel that the support they offer is surprising.
The bibs feature a rear pocket for riders who wish to ride with anMP3 player so you donít have to devote a jersey pocket to your electronics. Rather than gripper elastic at the leg cuffs, the shorts are finished with compression bands that give them a longish 11.25" inseam. All seams are flatlocked to give the inside of the shorts the smoothest possible feel against the skin.
The Louis Garneau Corsa Bib Shorts are available in Black, Black/Blue, and White/red and come in five sizes from Small through XX-Large.
- Lycra Power material throughout most of short supports muscles to help retain energy and strength
- 4Motion Chamois 3D wings and deep cut in back eliminate a bulky feel and allows unrestricted motion
- Bacteriostatic carbon top sheet and perforated, multi-thickness foam of the 4Motion chamois provides superior comfort
- Speed Tech dimpled fabric cuts wind resistance and provides superior moisture control on the thighs
- Carbon-X Mesh panels on the side provide compression and support with unmatched breathability
- Targeted seam placement for better aerodynamics with less seam-stretch resistance and chaffing
- Laser-cut Aero Lazer Band cuffs further reduce wind resistance

6' 2", ~200 lbs, ~33" waist --> XL shorts, fit great for many many miles
I did the 160 mile Ride Across Indiana (RAIN) in these shorts and they worked great! Never concerned with them falling down or moving around the whole time. Great price for what you get.
(only caveat is I had a high-end saddle with lots of cushion but both pieces of equipment are important for your equipment)
(I am the one with the "W" Wisconsin jersey with the ginger version of the shorts)

Very comfortable and great breath-ability. They actually look pretty cool to, which is a bonus. I got the ginger because that is all that was left on Bonktown. My only advice there is to get some white shorts for under because the pants are a bit see through in white. Very good value, very comfortable, and seem pretty durable. I would recommend these to anyone that is starting to bike or a serious biker. I'm not super experienced with bike shorts but I feel no discomfort after riding 30, 40 or more miles. I've done about 500 miles in them and still seem great. Saved my back side!
I don't see the sizing chart for this product. What's
I don't see the sizing chart for this product. What's a good size for 32" waist, 6', 180lb athletic build.

Thanks for your question. I did some digging and found a sizing chart for the Louis Garneau Corsa Short - Men's. According to that, a Small size will fit a 32" waist and a 38" hip. I would say to start at that size. Also, the inseam for this short is 11.25" and the size chart link is below:

Definately worth it. ordered the XL, they fit great. I'm about 6'2-6'3" and 198lbs, athletic build.
Three rides, all is well

I've washed these three times, ridden in them three times (about 100 miles total), and would buy three more. I'm always an XL in all shorts (except Castelli, in which I'm XXL). They do seem *slightly* smaller than my other LGs, but still similar to all my other XLs. I'm 6'1" 180 pounds with a 34" waist and medium build. No stopping to pull shorts down, no binding, no unwanted play in the saddle; very good shorts.

Great pair of shorts, chamois is super comfy even on rough roads. For the price you're going to be hard pressed to find a better pair out there. Wait for them to pop on BT, nabbed them for $60 :-D A note on the sizing: It's dead on for a change. I'm 5'7" with a 31" waist and inseam and the small fits perfectly. LG all the way.

I am not sure of the body type of the other reviewer or if they got the wrong size or different short but I decided to take a chance on the Corsa given the sale price (even lower on Bonktown) and the product description. I just used them today and am extremely impressed with construction as the short includes four (4) different materials to maximize support and breathability, along with a very comfortable 4D chammy that stays in place. The only unusual feature worth mentioning is that the short has a wide non elastic waistband and leg bands that are different from other shorts but I enjoyed not feeling constricted at the waist or thigh. Definitely a keeper short that was originally priced at $200 and has alot of technology built in. Enjoy.

I found nothing about this short that met my expectations. LG claims 11 inch inseam more like 8.5 inch. plus they ride up 2 plus inches. So left with 6 inch inseam short. Leg cuffs roll up also. Chamois comfortable til u move around on your saddle a little or heaven forbid stand up: doing either of these causes pad to get all outta sorts. despite 100's of attempts only way found to get pad back where it belongs is to stop and pull shorts down to your ankles then pull them back up. Which would have to b done every 5 miles or less.
