Per Shane Bonifay’s request, Liquid Force gave the Shane Open Toe Wakeboard Binding a slightly softer flex. However, it also decked this boot out with its new Response Plate System which uses two stiff metal plates to give the binding more strength and response than ever. An easy entry liner does away with any mechanisms or gadgets to get inside—just slip in. Liquid Force made the Shane Open Toe out of EVA instead of rubber, shedding over a pound per boot in extra weight, and also built an 8mm toe-riser for added leverage and control as you pull a toe-side back-side 720.
