While weaving through traffic on a skateboard, you don’t want to question the grippiness of your shoes. That’s why smart skaters put on the Lakai Manchester Select Skate Shoe before they shred. This flexible low-top features a vulcanized construction to keep the gum-rubber sole in one piece while you kick your board around town. With the form-fitting, durable suede and leather upper and shock-absorbing insole, you can go big in the park with more board control and more cushioning when you come down hard.
Bottom Line:
Go big, fall big, and keep shredding with the Manchester.
These are some of THE BEST shoes I've ever had to skate, bar none. Who doesn't want to look sick as hell while they skate?? They do get a little rough love from your griptape, but still work perfectly. The comfort level of the Manchester is also approximately 110%, making it a no-freaking-brainer. GET THIS SHOE.
these are some of the best skate shoes ever. they are super comfy, have a really grippy sole, a great shape, and the laces are perfectly placed for minimal wear. On the down side, the olly spot will get worn out super fast, and your shoes will be trashed after about a month of hard skating.
This is my fourth pair of Manchester selects. I've also had Howard selects in the past which are amazing as well. These look and feel great though. They are by far the most comfortable and most durable shoes I've ever skated. They look sick as well.
- Ollie spot is always the first to wear out for me - The laces are in a good position so they don't break immediately - The soles hold together amazingly well. I've never even come close to wearing through the bottom or sides.
(also beware of the canvas color. They look awesome, but show dirt very easily.)
these are by far the comfy(est) shoes i have ever skated in! its like being on a freaking cloud! i love it. highly recommend. The soles also hold up really well! :) definetly grabbin another pair of these
These are pretty much the best skate shoes I have ever owned! I love skating these because they have great grip, traction, good styling, durable, vulcanized, and sexy! I love how low they are because they will end up looking good with your jeans instead of hoping your jeans will look good with your high tops. Some of the best shoes on the market and by far the best skatable shoes.

Dy-no-mite! The cleanest looking skate shoe that has every graced my foot is actually a tribute to holligan-ism. And since soccer fans and skaters are criminals by nature, I can see entire stadiums of fans celebrating with gangs of skaters ... all sporting the Lakai Manchester. I picked up a pair of the light blue suede (because I never got to see Elvis gyrate) and choose not to skate in them due to the fact they look too damn good.
I have had my Grey and white ones for a year now, the suede is kinda faded and off but other than that they are still as comfy as the firstday I got them
These shoes are tight. While it's true that they don't give the best board feel, it definitely wasn't worse than other shoes I've had. Plus they look sick. I'm talking like make your grandma jealous sick. And you can't argue with the price.
got the blue suede and they are one of the sickest pairs i've ever had. got compliments from the lady folk first day. buy a 1/2 size bigger and you're golden.
I personally dont like this shoe. It wears down fast its kinda bulky for the thinness and the toe cap is kinda square. For the little board feel it doesnt cushion well. had them for two weeks and trashed em so definitly wont buy these again
These shoes are super kush and comfy with gratuitous amounts of padding where you need it most. The guys over at Lakai def know how to make a good looking versatile skate shoe. I use mine for longboarding and they're perfect in that regard, however, I know people that skate in them and they get shredded pretty quick, but hey, you can't expect much from a completley suede shoe. The sizing on these seems to run about a half size larger than usual so when ordering I'd keep that in mind. I ordered a 10.5 and they're leanin more towards an 11. All in all a gnarly shoe with some sick colorways, comfy fit, and superb versatility.
I love these shoes, I have 3 pairs already. They're great to skate with and also look great if you save a pair just for streetwear. Super comfortable, and the kind of padding you expect from a vulc skate shoe. The only problem is that the suede doesn't last too long, especially with new griptape. I got about 3 or 4 weeks of skating out of them before they wore all the way down to my socks. Luckily they're cheap so it's not a huge deal.
these shoes are awsome .I recomend them for beginners and pros. They're high enough so they don't interfer with your ankles.(at least for burgundy suede) the blue lakai logo is leather. Check 'em out!
The Lakai Manchester Select is probably one of my favorite fitting skate shoes. They have a great classic profile with a seamless toe and the Vulc sole is super nice and grippy. The shoe has a little padding around the cuff and the cut is low enough not to mess with your ankles. I especially like how they fit the back of my heel.
likai footware is the best! This shoe is great to skate in and it also looks great. i recomend this shoe for biggners and people who have been skateing for a long time. this shoe is light weight a comfortable. This is defentley my faviorte skate shoe.
Theses shoes are amazing.they go from skate stright to chill. THer not too tech but not too basic. Perfect for just about any type of skating you wanna do. I will deffinatly be returning for several other pairs.
These selects are 100% my favorite shoe. They are extremely comfortable, very stylish, and a good skate shoe. I have 4 different colors, no shoe can compete
