A quality all-rounder

By:
September 13, 2011

A superior all round pant that is warm and comfortable, good pockets and a loose but still quite stylish fit. Kuhl need to work on their fly design though, very awkward.

Need 30

By:

Where are the 30" inseam pants? I'm sure there are more 30x30 and 32x30 dudes shopping on this website than 40x32's. eh?

Your right, there are more 30x30 or 32x30 dudes on here, that is why all of them are gone! I wouldn't say that that is a reason to give the pants a 3 star rating just because your size isn't stocked though. Good shopping to ya!

Killer pants

By:
May 9, 2011

These pants are killer! These things are thick and will last! My only issue with these pants and with my other Kuhls is the zipper length. I wish the zipper was longer.

i agree, it also disturbs me alot to see XXXL clothing 50%-75% off whilst actually buying alot more physical fabric. But since there are alot of small guys 100% retail value all the time for us.

Sweeeet Fit!

By:
January 18, 2011

My first choice in work pants has been Carhart's for the past 12+ years. Kuhl's Rydr has recently surpassed Carhart's NEW light duty double knee dungaree as my favorite! And so true, the Rydr doubles as a stylish field/casual wearing pants! They feel great, near perfect fit, at the hips, the crotch, the legs/knees. I LOVE these and will buy more for both work and play!!

I can never give up my Carharts but the Rydr's I feel I can go out on the town in and they look nice at work. I can't get way with wearing Carharts at work..maybe I need a different job!

Good for Casual Wear

By:
November 14, 2010

These pants are good for casual wear. They were my favorites for a bit and I worn them quite a bit. The quality of the fabric is a little questionable. I caught a belt loop on the screen door on my way out one day and tore a large hole in the side of the pants. Also, I would not recommend them for hiking they are all cotton and don't breathe well, the fabric is pretty heavy and tends to bunch up when hiking.

Almost as good as the Kuhl jeans

By:
November 22, 2009

These are great pants. I have them in three colors. Don't care for the steel much, but some might... They fade some in wash, but a good fade. Dunno what pocket-boy was doing to his in the earlier review, and I don't think the fabric is as tough as the Kuhldry stuff the jeans and runners are made of, but they are not "sit on your butt" only pants. They are as tough as quality denim, IMO. If you want iron pants, buy some fire hose canvas pants from Duluth Trading, but don't expect to look as good in them.

Awesome pants!

By:

I really like the Kuhl brand, and this is definitely one of their best! The fit is true to size (I'm 6ft 170lbs and medium was perfect). The fabric is very comfortable yet sturdy. The only thing I'd say as a warning is animal hair sticks to these pants pretty bad. The stitching and design is excellent and the pants look great! The cell phone pocket isn't that functional due to the fact that it doesn't have any button or velcro to keep your phone from falling out. I'm very happy with these pants and I think they'll last a long time.

Best of KUHL!

By:
May 18, 2009

I need a fit that's relaxed around the thighs and allows freedom of movement. This is my go-to pair of pants for everything. The fit is low on the waist. I am sad that I had to gripe about Backcountry not having these last season. I already have a few. I would recommend these to the guy who has muscular legs and hates a tight fit. Not baggy in the rear... girls can still admire what's there. These have a similar fit to the KUHL jean pant. All of the others have a much higher waist. I have learned that the hard way.

no good!!!

RIpped pocket and wore a hole in other pocket three hours after putting them on. Not real sturdy. Only thing these are good for is sitting on your ass.

These are nice pants. Anyone else think the zipper is a little short?

@7503111490, what on earth were you doing with the pants that you destroyed them so quickly?

That is a standard size, have to look around. Don't seem to find many outfitters that carry all sizes.
