Kona Coil Air Supreme Frame - 2009

Kona Coil Air Supreme Frame - 2009 BCS

Item # KNA0074

At home clawing up hardtail-torturing, loose and bumpy climbs, laying waste to gravity-assisted descents, and cleaning balance-testing stunts the CoilAir Supreme Frame begs to be built into a trail-owning, all-mountain monster. Thanks to the terrain-intuitive Magic Link, the CoilAir sports a protean attitude that’s constantly adjusting the frame’s geometry, travel (125mm to 200mm), and spring rate—without having to take a hand off the bar to fiddle with hard-to-reach knobs. Free from distracting suspension adjustments the Magic Link provides the chance to fully use the CoilAir’s lightweight, hydroformed, and butted chassis to break the legs off of others and shove ’em right down their throats.

  • Magic Link: Descending – (188mm of travel) two springs in series work together for soft initial spring rate that progressively increases, slackening the geometry and lengthening the chainstays for stable high-speed handling
  • Magic Link: Climbing – (125mm of travel) Pedal forces disengage the secondary spring for a firm, bob-free ride, reducing travel, steepening the head and seat tube angles, and shortening the chainstays
  • Includes Kona’s D.O.P.E. floating brake kit to eliminate brake jack

Bottom Line:

Feed the Supreme lactic acid loaded legs.

its the same...the reason it looks different is cause KONA is showing a larger frame with a bend in the top tube, while DepartmentofGoods has the size small frame pictured...and almost all size small frames have a straight top tube.
