The fast-drying, bacteria-free KEEN Women's Venice H2 Sandals are ideal for extended trips on the river or easy hiking where your feet are sure to get soaked. Not only do these closed-toe sandals offer protection that regular sandals can't match, but they also provide easy access and a quick, secure fit with a drawcord lace design. You'll appreciate the extra protection of the Venice H2 sandals when you're jamming your foot under a thwart on a rafting trip, or when the trail turned out to be a little more rugged than you expected. Whatever the case, the polyester uppers on these KEEN sandals are sure to be bone dry by the time you're back in the car.
Bottom Line:
The KEEN Women's Venice H2s have all the advantages of your favorite flip flops without any of the drawbacks.
I just love the look and feel of this sandal! I have the Newport H2 which I love and was afraid that this sandal would be too much the same. Not true! They are different enough and the colors are fabulous. They do run 1/2 size small so make sure you order 1/2 larger than normal size. Feet sweat a little less in these sandals because of the extra ventilation. Love the toe covers for extra protection and when I don't feel like showing my pretty toes. I have a flat foot and have a hard time finding sandals that provide good arch support but not too much that it is painful. These are the perfect answer and funky too! I also have a narrow heel and shoes often slip in the back and cause blisters. Not the case with these KEENS. They have a perfect back strap with just enough stretch that your foot doesn't slide around. I love that I can wear them in the rain and hose off after a treck through the mud. Last, I have a small ankle and thought these shoes might look clunky or too wide. I was impressed immediately when I put them on. Much more flattering than a sneaker! I have found KEEN and now there is no going back! They are different and make you feel a little more cool that you may already be!
What is the difference between the Newport H2 and the Venice
What is the difference between the Newport H2 and the Venice H2? Is there a difference in size and weight or is the just the extra strap? With the price difference I would expect one to be different then the other, but I cannot tell without seeing them in person. I am looking for something to go use to go hiking in the summer and to be able to get wet and not worry about getting them dirty. Are these easy to clean?
The Newport runs a little smaller than the Venice, so if your a 8 go to a 8.5 in the Newport. The Newport also has less volume across the instep of the foot, so if you have a high instep(high arch) I would recommend the Venice. Both are good for hiking, but the Newport has more support due to the thicker rubber in the sole, this also makes the Newport heavier.
At first glance I was a bit unsure about the styling of these shoes. Looked a bit strange and unflattering. My husband made me try a pair on and WOW, they are by far the most comfy and no worries shoe I own. They are so light and almost feel like they are made of foam. The footbed is incredibly strong and provides the shock absorption of a high end tennis shoe while the upper gives enough support to feel secure enough to run and trek in comfort. They are not the most flattering shoe for a woman's foot but they make up for that in function.
I've been wearing my Venice H2s nearly daily for the past six weeks. Within days, they quickly became my favorite pair for their sheer comfort: my feet are well-protected over any terrain, I can splash through puddles without a worry, and I can still enjoy the open, airy feeling of sandals.
As a woman with a size 10.5 foot, I often have to make do with too-large size 11s or too-snug 10s. I'd become downright used to suffering blisters after a long walk or hike in athletic shoes, but haven't had a single sore spot with these Venice H2s. I can't tell you how amazed I am -- and how much more active. I'm particularly pleasantly surprised at how suitable these are to wear on the elliptical or treadmill. My usual athletic shoes have been shoved to the back of the closet.
I haven't noticed the heat-retention mentioned in other reviews; my feet may be slightly sweaty after 30+ minutes of activity, but it's nothing worse than what I'd experience wearing any other shoe. After a month and a half of heavy use, including hiking outdoors, walking through the city where I live, and some gardening, my Keens are ready for a trip through the washing machine. Other that light soiling, there's been no damage at all to these sandals.
Hi,
I'm going to be traveling Southeast Asia, Maylasia,
Hi,
I'm going to be traveling Southeast Asia, Maylasia, and Indonesia. I plan on doing some intermediate level hiking and will definitely be in and around water. Also how does this styel compare to the Newport H2 in terms of running? I'd like to forgo a running shoe in my pack, but for a jog of maybe 4 miles how would either of these sandals hold up?
The Newport has more stability than the Venice. neither one is designed for running. If your running four miles a day for a extended time I would recommend a running shoe. Both are durable for light hiking and water.
These are my favorite shoes I have ever bought. I bought them 2 summers ago for shoes to wear everyday at the children's day camp I worked at. (I originally saw them on one of my 6 year old girls are got jealous!) Now that I'm getting out a little more my love for them has grown. I wore them on a 15 mile backpacking trip (I know, I know, you should wear boots) and I had no complaints and no blisters. The awesome toecap kept me from stubbing my toe on rocks and allowed me to climb stuff without scraping my toes, something that I worried about with Chaco's.
I have really high arches and when they're bothering me I chose these shoes to wear. The arches aren't super high but very comforting. My laces haven't stretched out too much over the course of 2.5 years either. The shoe itself is tight enough (while still loose and very comfortable on my narrow foot) for me to wear them without the laces drawn on normal day walks to class. They really do adapt to your feet, its amazing.
The coloring has faded a lot but that was expected as I wore them in the river daily for 3 months and was always outside. These suckers have held up so well. I'm going to buy another just so I can have a different color.
My friends claim they are super goofy looking but that's fine because they're the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased. It took my feet about 2 weeks of daily wear to get used to the inner sole.
My only gripe (that I really don't even care a lot about) is that they claim to be antimicrobial but even after washing they still smell. But whatever, shoes smell sometimes.
I have worn Keens for about five years and love them. I wear them pretty much everyday. I think they have changed the product because I used to have a problem with the smell and I never do any longer. So you might want to try a new pair.
I ordered a red size 9 in the Venice H2 sandal. I normally wear an 8 1/2 in a tennis shoe. The size 9 in these sandals fit great. They do take a while to dry after getting wet. I have gotten soooo many compliments on these sandals. People want to know where I got these CUTE sandals. I recommended ordering from this site. The service was fast and friendly.
Love the Keen sandals. Bought the Venice H2 to replace a pair that looks the same only was called Venice (without added H2).Old pair's soles are finally wearing in some areas after 3+ years and I wear them alot!
Unfortunately I bought my usual size (same size as last pair of sandals) and they were too small.I had to return them and replaced with a pair 1/2 size larger. The second pair fits perfectly. But I wonder why Keen would change their sizing? Backcountry was great in shipping out second pair quickly.
Love love love these sandals! They dont give me blisters and are easy to put on. I wear them daily in the summer, very comfortable to walk and hike in. Get them wet, and they dry quickly. Love them in our many Moab trips - they grip slickrock really well. The saddest thing is putting them away for winter! I have another pair of Keen shoes that I wear in the winter, and they are just as comfortable. Keens have definitely given my Birkenstocks a run for their money!
My parents got me pair for my birthday. I absolutely love them ! They are so comfy and when i got them soaked they were dry within minutes. These are my favorite pair of shoes I've ever had ! I look forward to trying other keen shoes!
Everyone should own a pair! I used these for everything! Camping, biking, hiking, whitewater rafting, everyday use and they are wonderful. They are comfortable and durable. They also fit true to size.
The Venice H2 Sandal protects my clumsy toes from the rocks while in the water, but the fuller coverage makes for a warmer shoe. The wide footbed is very comfortable, and the straps are easy to adjust. No blisters yet.
I wear these sandals around the house quite a bit. One of the straps hits one of my feet in an odd place, but after about 5 minutes I don't notice it. They're very comfortable otherwise, but they do seem to retain some heat.
The Keen Venice H2 Sandal may look a little "dorky" at first but put them on your feet and you feel like you can walk forever. I ordered a 1/2 size larger and am very glad I did because my feet have a tendency to swell a bit in the very hot, humid Georgia summers. Overall the comfort is exceptional and my feet stay cool and dry. I love the color selections. I opted for the bright green, which is outside my usual comfort zone but the color goes with everything believe it or not. I will definitely buy Keen shoes in the future and highly recommend any active ladies out there to buy the Venice H2 sandals.
I'm not used to wearing sandals. I am most comfortable in running shoes. For this summer I thought I'd try sandals. I'm glad I got these- they are so comfortable- I really like them. The one negative is that my feet get gritty/dirty but I guess that goes for any sandal. Size warning: they do run small. I wear 7 1/2 to 8 and I had to get 8 1/2 in these-- I've never worn that number in any shoe!
I ordered a size 9 in the Venice H2 sandel. I normally wear an 8 1/2 in a tennis shoe. The size 9 in this sandel fits great. They have been very comfortable to wear. They do take a while to dry after getting wet. I have gotten soooo many compliments on these sandels. People want to know where I got these cute sandels. I have recommended this site. The service was excellent. I will probably order my next pair of Keens from this site.
I had wanted a pair of Keen's for so long and finally decided to buy a pair and I was not disappointed. They are great sandals, so comfortable, fit well and you can get them wet and crawl around on the ground and they still look great. I had read somewhere to order a 1/2 size up from your normal size. I am an 8.5 so I ordered a 9 and the fit was just right (plenty of toe room). After a past mishap crawling on some boulders with a pair of sandals that left all my toes exposed; and the resulting toenail that became separated from my big toe, I vowed to always wear sandals that protect my little piggies. So this is the perfect sandal. Thanks also to this site for the great service in handling my order.
This is my SECOND email. I love the shoe but it turns my toes black. The fabric in the Toe is faulty. I tried soaking and scrubbing the inside of the toe, but they still turns my toes black! This did not happen with my other pair that are blue. Any suggestions? I think if you ask my opinion, you should respond to this email. Carol Wissolik
I have received my pair of Venice H2's and trying to decide
I have received my pair of Venice H2's and trying to decide if I need to exchange for 1/2 size larger if available. One of my feet is longer than the other. My toes are just barely touching the end of the shoes on that foot and only slightly off the other shoe. I can pull my feel back a bit and they're fine. Trying to decide if I need a longer pair. do the straps stretch a bit Do feet usually settle forward or back? Does the toe guard rub blisters on toes?
My wife has the same sandal and I've been wearing the Newports for 3-4yrs now. We do almost everything in our Keen's and they're awesome. In general, the lacing (shock cord) and the sandal will allow your foot to slide forward after a little time. I would recommend going a half size bigger if you're already rubbing as your sitting there. Our feet rarely settle so I can't help you there. Our size fits us great, no blisters to bother about yet but I think the heel strap is more likely to blister than the foot pad or toe guard. My wife did go a half size larger due to the same issue your asking about and she looks happy about the decision.
So far i've tried these sandals on a few short hikes, an overnight backpack trip through a gulch that requires walking in an average of 5 cm of water, and on a couple river trips. For general hiking, i do NOT like them. Little rocks get in there and they can't get out because of the toe protection and I would have to stop and take them off all the time to remove the rocks (i've tried to work out a few methods to shake them out, but most of the time you need to stop to extract them). I had the same problem in the gulch hike, and ended up hiking barefoot most of the time in the water when the surface was mostly sand and small rocks, although for areas that required hiking around waterfalls on slickrock, i felt the traction was pretty good. For rivers they are, of course, GREAT! Used them on the green river, and two portions of the payette river. We dumped our boat on one occasion and i was never fearful for my toes/feet and walking through the rocky river bed whenever we were launching, or stopping for lunch, or whatever, was never a problem, in fact you can move fast with more confidence (than in open toe sandals) in times when you need to get to shore in a hurry. i'm rating them at 4 because i'd give them a 1 or 2 for hiking and a 5 for river use and i know they are mostly intended for river use, but they've been hyped up a lot for multi use on trails (make sure your trails are ultra smoooooth or paved and they might be fine).
here is the review: you guys were very helpful and got my shoe to me quickly. I wanted an all around shoe that would function as an all day walking shoe in the city ( going to France) Because it is black I hope it can move into dinner as well. We will see. I recently tested it on a trip to NYC. Out of the box, no break in time, walked all day for 3 days, no pain, no blisters and that was without socks. Didn't use as a dinner shoe in NYC but hopeful for France. I usually take an 8 1/2 or 9 size shoe. I needed the 9 1/2 for length with the Venice. A little too wide but okay. Buy it.
Keens are super durable. The string for tightening works well and does not make me feel like I need to be careful not to break it. I have talked with people who I see wearing Keens and am amazed when I hear the Keens they are wearing are over a year old. They look like new.

Write your question here...weaing A WOMENS' 11.5, AM ACCUSTOMED TO HAVING TO WEAR MENS' what size is appropiate in men's, howmuch does the men's weigh and does it adjust to a narrow foot???
I am absolutely in love with my new Keens. The fit is perfect, I haven't suffered any blisters, and the arch support is just right. Very comfortable, and super gripper souls even when wet! I read reviews stating that the sandals ran a half size small, but I think they run perfectly true to size. I even have a tad bit of extra toe room.
The shoe was really nice, but I just couldn't get it to fit right. One size was too loose the next smaller was too tight. I was really disappointed that I couldn't manage to have one or the other fit. I have to say though that the return policy is great and I was pleased with the service... just wish the shoe fit.
I have had keens sandals for years. These are the same comfortable fitting shoes I am used to but I do feel that are not quite as well made as previous purchases.
I love these shoes. I live in Europe and travel often. They are very comfortable to walk for long periods of time. I feel like they also help my feet breath in the summer time. The material of the shoe is very nice. I would highly recommend these shoes for comfort and style.
I tried on a pair of Venice H2 sandals in a shoe store, and liked them, but they didn't have the color I wanted. So I was excited to find them on Backcountry.com, and for $20 less than the shoe store. I already knew I needed a half size larger than my usual, because I had tried on the identical shoes. What I didn't realize, though, was that trying them on with socks on in the store was different from wearing them barefoot at home. There is a seam that runs the length of inside of the top of the shoe, and it left a painful indentation in the top of my foot. To be fair, I am very sensitive to seems (I wear all of my socks inside out) so this may not be a problem for those with tougher feet. But for me, the bottom line is that I'm glad Backcountry.com had a good return policy, because these shoes definitely need to go back.
i've never been a sandal person, but when i needed water shoes for a camping trip, my boyfriend suggested these. I LOVE THEM. they are super comfortable, dry fast, and didn't cause any blisters or sore spots on my feet. i wear an 8.5 shoe, but got a 9 in these. they run a bit snug.
I was excited to try out these shoes. I have had other keen shoes and loved them all. These did not have the immediate out of the box fit that my other keens have had. Keens are generally fairly generous in their sizing but these seem to run spot on for sizing. They took a bit of breaking in but now I love these shoes. I can wear them anywhere and they now have that comfortable keen fit I look forward to. I love that my toes are covered ( I'm a big klutz) but it's still a sandal!
I really like these shoes. They're my first pair of keens and def go with the advice to order a 1/2 size up. I float between a 7.5 and 8, and the 8 works perfectly. (even with a thin pair of socks--and i normally don't EVER condone socks with sandals, but for our flight these were my heaviest shoe and chicago was pretty chilly) black socks blended in fine. :) BUT, functionally they're awesome. We spent 5 days in the Costa Rican rainforest and they held up beautifully, great arch support (i have way high arches), and if you tighten them enough you should be fine on any hike. Of course there really isn't the ankle support like a tennis shoe, but they were beyond comfortable to me. Add the fact that they are waterproof, and these were basically made for the rainforest. One of the hikes we did was down a waterfall/river (hopping from rock to rock) and half the time your feet are in the river. These were awesome, and way better than the tall boots the lodge provided that if you went too deep, you had a boot full of water the rest of the time + soaked socks. I agree with others that little rocks/sand get in there and is annoying to dislodge, but as long as you are near water they are easy enough to rinse out. Not a good enough reason for me not to get these.
Now that I'm home, I plan to wear these all next summer. They're comfy, simple to slip on, no toe stubbing risk, and won't slip off like flip flops can. Totally worth the money! (even though backcountry is not that expensive).
Also, I debated between these and the Newports and went w/ these mostly b/c there are less straps/coverage so more sun on the foot. :) I tried both on at local stores, and they fit basically the same. Thought these looked cooler, plus seems to be that a lot of people have the newports.
Bought these for my wife and we headed up to Muskoka and Algonquin area in Canada for a vacation. She wore them for several days prior to the trip. We did two hour day hike and a half day of canoeing. She loves them except for some rubbing on one strap. When she puts it on the material under the strap rolls and folds causing some rubbing. Worked very well in water.
I had been looking for some outdoor sandals that are comfortable, protect my toes and won't give me blisters. I have flat feet and a narrow heel. I have also found that a lot of sandals don't have a roomy enough toe box. I have been wearing these every day for about a month and I am happy to say that I haven't had any blisters and the toe box is wonderfully roomy just like my hiking shoes made by Keen. They also go great with my shorts and jeans. Although my feet do sometimes get a bit warm they don't stink or feel sweaty. Awesome find!!
Keen as always are wonderful, but I love this pair even more. There's lots of room in the toe box and they hug the heel without rubbing. The color was what I've been looking for - Yellow.
Best. Shoes. Ever. I wear them to work, to do yard work, hiking at the river and everywhere else. But in regards to a previous review, I found them to be true to size. I ordered a 1/2 size up and guess what, they are a 1/2 size too big. It does not make a huge difference, but i would suggest going to a retailer and trying them on to find your actual size before ordering.
I love these shoes, if I didn't have to dress up for work i would wear them everyday! I wore them hiking and they were great - no blisters, no breaking in, they just fit right, right away. I ordered half a size larger then usual - i wear a 7 and i ordered a 7.5 and they fit great. my dog got a hold of them one afternoon and tried to rip them to pieces, but they survived and are still just as good - they just don't look as wonderful as before. i would highly recommend them!
I just love my sandals! I can do everything comfortably in them, from trail hiking to greenway walking. There was no "breaking in" period at all. I purchased them to wear to Disney World and feel confident that they may be the only shoes I will need there. I love that they are waterproof with no sliding around in them when they are wet. I purchased the Bright yellow ones as that clor makes me very happy. I think however, that I just may have to purchase another color to have a variety as I find I'm wearing them almost evrey day now that the weather is warmer!
I love these sandals!! I usually have a hard time findig any shoes that fit and support my high arches. Keen shoes and sandals are just perfect. The are very supportive and comfortable. I can be on my feet all day and my feet still feel great.
I've had this same style of Keen shoes for 3 years and decided to finally buy another pair to replace them. And I wear them often! Great shoes for all purpose walking, boating. Dry out quickly after getting wet.
New pair appears to also be well made and durable. However the new ones ran 1/2 size smaller than the originals in the same size. Took off one star for the size discrepancy. Had to return them and waiting for the replacement, which I am looking forward to using soon.
I bought these for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. Thinking of the beach & volcanoes I wanted closed toe shoes I could wear most anywhere.
Because I wanted to be sure I got the right size & also having read that these ran small, I ordered 2 sizes: the 8.5, which I typically wear & the 9. I sent the 9 back because it was just loose enough even pulled tight. Keen's as always have a very welcome bit reinforced sole. I've got bad knees & my lower back has been particularly difficult of late, so I've been wearing them around the house basically as my "slippers" having not yet worn them outside.
I love these. I tend towards clogs, hating closed toe shoes. I have a hard time even getting a good running shoe to fit comfortably. These are just very comfortable. I can walk around in them all afternoon on the weekend & forget I have them on. It's still a bit cold here, so I've not worn them outdoors yet, but I'm pretty sure these are going to get a lot of good wear in just a couple of weeks. I would highly recommend them. I bought them in Petrel/twilight which is a nice deep blue without being boring. I think they're a bit pricey, but the comfort is worth it.
I bought these in 2 sizes so as to better get a good fit. I ended up keeping the 8.5, which is what I usually wear. The 9s just made my feet feel like they rattled around too much. I'm planning on these for a trip to Hawaii this spring. They look like they will be good, comfortable shoes I can wander around in all day & not worry about getting wet. I'll have my hiking boots but I'm thinking more about some of the volcanic areas near the beach when I bought these. Others have mentioned that they're hot- i noticed my feet feel a bit warm, but not uncomfortably so. hopefully should get a lot of wear out of them when the weather gets just a bit warmer in a month or so (in Alabama). I'm very pleased with these.
My husband and I each ordered the Keen Venice H2 sandal. We both ordered a half size larger. His are still a bit tight. We hiked through water and jungle terrain to get to a waterfall. These were the perfect shoes for this. They are comfortable enough to wear everyday and give enough arch support.
Love these, love these, love these. They are so comfortable. They're light and the fit is great. They fit better than the Keen Newport sandals (much truer to size and no problem with my high instep which is often a problem for me with Keens). Also, they're much lighter than my Keen Newports. For light trails, they're perfect.
I really like these sandals. My feet do sweat in them though. But they are easy to clean. Easy to get on and off. I would recommend ordering a 1/2 size up. I think most keens tend to run small. I own 3 other pairs of keens and love them. Highly recommend.
Yes, I am hooked on Keens in general and have multiple pairs of several styles. The Keen Venice H2 is my personal favorite! I order my normal size if I want to wear socks with them, or a 1/2 size smaller if I don't. I've washed them numerous times with great results. They go in water, in the garden, and on hikes and there is never a break in period. They are the only shoes that give me relief from plantar fasciitis!
Love them! I wear these for everything: hiking, walking the dog, running errands, etc. Great replacement for flip flops which I was getting tired of wearing all the time. I love that they are closed toe and I can go straight from the grocery store to hiking up Kennesaw Mountain with my dog. After reading the other reviews about Keens in general and sizing, I bought a 9 because I wear a 9 running shoe (even though I'm an 8 or 8 1/2 in dress shoes). Perfect fit. Can't wait to buy more.
I've been looking for a comfortable yet stylish shoe and this is it. I'm on my feet all day and they work out great. I also use them for hiking since they are waterproof and my feet can breathe!! Very happy with my purchase.
These sandals are great for working outside because they keep your feet cool, but still have a lot of support like a shoe. I wear them all of the time now, whether walking the dog or doing yard work. The only thing that could be improved slightly is the traction on the bottom, but otherwise, I love them!
Bought these sandals for the wife on Mother's Day, and can't get her out of them. She is very impressed with the comfort and stability they give her. Stylish enough to go to work in, but sturdy enough for long jaunts on the trail. I SEE MORE H2's IN THE FUTURE! ;-).
I love these shoes!! I have Neuropathy and have a tough time finding a comfy shoe.. these fit the bill!!! I put them on and haven't stopped wearing them. I did order a half size bigger and that was perfect. Try them, you won't be disappointed!
The sandals are terrific. Excellent traction and cushioning for the feet. I bought them for a trip to Florida and they were great in the hot weather - feet stayed remarkably cool. Great color too. My first Keen's and they will not be the last!
Great shoe, but it runs a whole size smaller than my other shoes. Normally I wear a 4 1/2, but ordered a 5 after reading other reviews saying this shoe ran small. The 5 was also too small, and I needed a 5 1/2 in order for the shoe not to rub my toes. After getting the sizing correct, I have worn this comfortable shoe everywhere.
be tested on a trek to the Philippines. My husband loves his Keen sandals, having broken his toe on a rocky headland just before he bought them. That toe covering is a great idea!
Keen makes a shoe that fits my foot simple as that. This is my second pair, the first pair went treking, to the water and ended up in the garden where this durable shoe will continue to serve me in comfort. Style/fit varies with Keens although they are wide not all are equal in comfort, recommend try fit before ordering by mail. excellent order/shipping from backcountry.
This is my first pair of keens and I love them! They are super comfortable and have good support, which is important to me because i have a history of plantar fasciitis. I took them on a sea kayaking trip and they were great. The only thing is that they are surprisingly not breathable, making my feet sweat even more than they already do when just wearing them around.
I have owned numerous pairs of keens, and have always loved them, but for some reason these have made my big toe numb. These are my second pair of Venice H2s, same size. I actually remember when I got my first pair two years ago they seemed too small at first, then fit, then seemed too big. I know it doesn't seem possible that the foot bed stretched, but I swear that it did (significantly)over the two years that I wore them. I considered ordering a different size, but in the end ordered the same size, and after wearing my new ones for three days I have noticed that my big toe on my left foot is numb. (I haven't worn my keens for 4 days now, and it continues to be numb.) This is very mysterious to me, and I think it must just be a problem with sizing, although I have never had a problem like this before with any shoe. Aside from that I like them. Good support, and the black with contrast stitching is really cute.
Love them. Totally versatile, totally wet and mud-worthy with easy cleaning. The only downside is that they don't have the best footbed/arch support. If that's what you're looking for, go for chacos. The appeal for me over chacos, however, was the toe shield, ability to wear socks with the sandals, and that they had less coverage than the newport and so are less hot/clammy.
I walk every day in these shoes for miles-- on pavement, on trails, through sand-- and they ROCK. My feet never hurt, and here in So-Cal I can go without socks or with socks to adjust for appropriate temperature. The only downside I've ever had is that, like tennis shoes, you've got to stop and take them off to pour any rocks out. But otherwise, my feet are happy, and I'm happy.
These shoes provide great cushion and support. They are very comfortable, look good, and can really take a beating without letting me down. This is a perfect camp shoe; I use them for rafting and hiking in particular.
My Daughter is very athletic and rugid and these shoes are perfect for keeping up with all of her outside adventures. They are comfortable and honestly I think that she wears them everyday. Well worth every dollar that you spend!!!!
I like these sandals when I took them with me on a camping trip to Big Sur, CA. We walked the dogs to the beach and although the sand and pebbles do get in the shoe, it's still comfortable after you clear them out - afterall, they are a sandal. When wet, it was a little difficult to walk on rocks, as they were a little slippery with a wet foot on the sandal. I tightened them, but they still weren't stable enough to prevent from slipping, so I decided not to rock-hop. Overall, they're a pretty cool sandal!
I love my Keen Venice H2's!! I've been looking at them for quite some time while watching and talking with those who were wearing them - everything they said was true - they are very comfortable and I love how sporty and indestructible they are and I love purchasing from Backcountry - they are the best in shipping, customer service and sense of style and quality for the products they choose to sell - thanks Backcountry!!
I read many reviews before buying these. I haven't worn them for any long walks or water sports yet. They're pretty comfortable; although, I don't agree that they have excellent arch support...I could use a little more. I also took the advice of going up one-half size and that was a good choice. I bought the Carnelian/Apricot and the color is beautiful! As far as fast shipment, I ordered on Sunday and received an e-mail the same day saying my order was shipped. However, I didn't receive my package until 8 days later.
These shoes are simply the best for outdoor activity that involves water. I agree that they run a little smal. However, I usually wear an 8 and these do fit. If you're on the fence size-wise, it might be smart to go up 1/2 a size. Otherwise, enjoy!
These arethe most comfortable sanadals I have ever worn. I suggest ordering a 1/2 size larger than you normally wear. I wear an 8.5 and a 9 fits me perfectly. The sole is so comfy. Go for it!
The shoes are great, although I needed to order 1/2 size up to fit. They are cool and hose off great, but take a little while to dry. I walked miles in them the first day and had no blisters or sore feet - very cushy.
I'm seeing conflicting information on this on various sites.
I'm seeing conflicting information on this on various sites. Could somebody please confirm whether or not these have leather/suede components? Thanks!!!
There are 2 different versions of this shoe, the Venice and the Venice H2. The H2 is waterproof and does not have any leather components at all. The regular Venice uses waterproof leather.
I bought these sandals primarily to golf in (hate golf shoes) and they were perfect. Walked nine holes, never got a blister and they have good grip on the sole for when I was swinging the club. They look great and are soooo comfy. I will definitely being wearing these for more than just golf!
Great shoe and great value. The item was shipped quickly. I will buy from this site again!! I wish I would have gotten the orange ones too!!! Thank you!
They are great. They seem to be a bit wide for my foot and run a little longer than the other sandals. I have to wear socks with them, as the molded foot makes my feet sweat. I wish they would do a pair with different foot cover. The colors are great, and I get lots of compliments on them.
I got the red pair and REALLY love how cute they are. I even get a ton of compliments when I wear them. The only problem is that one foot gets blisters on the big toe. I didn't size up so that may be the problem...aside from sensitive feet issues I love these, the foot bed is really comfortable as is the material used for the upper. I still recommend but be careful about sizing up.
I love all of my keens. Go up a 1/2 size as usual though. They are great for trails and rafting. I know I can wear all of my keens strait from the box and not have to worry about blisters or anything. These dry faster than the Newport Keens too.
I LOVE Keens!!! I have so many pairs but this Venice H2 rocks for my close-toed job! The Keen foot bed never ceases to amaze me. I never get tired feet! This is my second order from this site and it's been so speedy and the deals are great! Not to mention free shipping :) cheers rocking on in the great outdoors!
These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn! They are cushy and easily adjustable. There was no break-in time for me. I wore these around Disneyland for 3 days straight and never had a blister foot irritation or pain. The straps are soft and never rubbed on my feet. I have a high arch so if I wear a shoe without enough arch support, I'm in pain. These sandals have great arch support! I got the carnelian/apricot fade which are a bit loud (I love them, though) and I've since ordered the taupe/mineral blue. You've got to try these shoes!
I love these shoes so much that over the last couple of years my collection has grown to three different colors. I wear them everywhere I can get away with it. They're so comfortable that I can stand and walk in them all day long at work and I'm fine. Since I wear them every single day, they can get pretty dirty, but all you've gotta do is throw them in the washing machine with the rest of your laundry and they come out looking like new. (The manufacturer actually recommends this!) They last forever, too, so even though they're a little bit pricier than average, they're a great investment. I recommend buying some deodorizing foot spray and making sure your feet are clean and dry before putting on your Keens, because they do get a little sweaty and stinky otherwise, but what shoes don't do this when you wear them without socks? I know this isn't the most fashionable thing to do, but I even wear them with black socks in the winter with my jeans, and they end up looking like regular sneakers. (This doesn't work with white socks; that's just going too far with the socks-and-sandals thing. :) ) I adore my Keens!
