Love these sandals. They're perfect for the hot humid south. You get the stability of a running shoe and the ventilation of a sandal. Plus they look good and I get compliments. I wear them to work in the yard and just running around. I did order a half size down since I have a narrow foot and they fit perfect.
I really like the look & color of these slide sandals, but they are just too wide for a narrow foot. My foot is somewhat narrow, and I could not keep these slides on. I bet they are great on a wider foot! They seem to have good support. I want a Keen slide with an adjustable strap to hold them on!
Thank goodness I found the Bali Sandal for women. Actually, I spotted the sandal on another woman and asked her about the shoe. I have another pair of Keens and bought the Bali pair to wear by the pool and beach. They fit very well and are extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend them!
This is my second pair of Balis. My first pair lasted me about two years of constant wear through spring/summer/fall. Other than the soles getting flattened out, they still look really good. I wear these for work and play. They're dressy enough for casual skirts and dresses, and the colors get them noticed. I get compliments on them all the time. And unlike my other styles of Keens, sand and pebbles don't get stuck in them.
I love these sandals. I bought a pair about 3 years ago. I ordered the next size up based on the reviews but they were too big so had to return. I found them elsewhere as they were out of my size - my normal size fits perfectly. I guess it just depends on your feet!
My wife has wanted these sandals for a while now. She first seen them on one of her friends and asked about them. Her friend said they were the best and favorite pair she owned. I loved this sandal I have 3 pairs at home.The black pair finally died so I ordered a new pair same size.It came and it is 1/2 in shorter than my other three pairs. I am re-ordering in the next size up but now I'm out shipping both ways.Hope this saves someone the same expense.
No, they do not. I was expecting them to, like the Maui. They feel pretty secure on. I just got them so time will tell if they stay on as well as the Maui does. But they are super comfortable so far!! I love them.
I have had my Balis for over two years. Walking, hiking, biking, going to work, they never quit! Not a thong, so no weird toe rubbing, and they never slid off, not even hiking up mountains. Not even in water. They rock my world. The past two summers I wore Balis, and Balis alone. They made me sad when it came time for winter footwear, even though I am a ski junkie. I think they could possibly take over the traditional flip-flop world!
p.s. I have a very weird shaped foot, wide in the front, narrow in the heel, and usually a 9-1/2. Size 10s in most women's shoes are usually too long and narrow, but these fit perfectly!
I can't say enough good about these shoes. I have had them about a month now. It took me about two times wearing them to get used to how they hit the top of my foot but now I wear them every chance I get. They are easy and comfy to slip on around the house and offer enough support for extended walking. My stroller's break is not sandle friendly. Bali's toe protection saves me from bending over and releasing the break with my hand. A small bonus but something I am thankful for as I load 4 small young children into the car! Love the shoes and was very happy with Back Country's service.
Purchased this pair to replace a pair from 3 years ago. Still wear the original pair and look almost new. I've worn them daily during the summers and scrubbed them without any loss in quality. I recommend these to anyone who wants a comfy sandal to run around in. The covered toe has helped me not stub my toe on numerous occasions.

Bali is by far my favorite Keen sandal and that is saying a lot, since I own 3 pairs of them and 5 different others. (that does not include my 2 pairs of shoes and three pairs of boots.) They look great on your feet, not as 'sporty' as others, so they are nice with a skirt. Today walking in the very hot sand in Costa Rica, the heel portion of my sole fell off. This is the very first time I have had anything happen to a pair of Keens and when I went online to replace them, I find I may have trouble finding a new pair.
I have just about every color of the Bali's and they are wearing out now, but can't find any to replace the one's I have!!!! Why did you stop carrying a good product? Also why didn't you ever carry them in a tan or brown? I know several other people that wear them and are very frustrated that they can't buy new ones. This is such a shame.

This is the 3rd pair of Keen Bali Sandals I have owned and I still love 'em. They are nice enough for casual dress up but comfortable enough to walk miles in.
I bought these in the two colors I've been looking at for several years, but had just never bought. I found this great price at backcourntry.com and had to get them! I've worn them both several times and LOVE them! A co-worker said they looked like flowers on my feet and another said she might get them because she would only need to make sure a couple of toes were polished! : )
I did get the chance to put them in the wash after getting them all muddy and they came out just fine! Love that feature, too!

I ordered one pair and have returned and bought two others. The day starts with these as a pair of slippers. What I love is the cradle that your foot feels inside. Ample room in the tow box but not sloppy. Your large toe is covered, how many times do you bump your big toe in a day,anyway and this prevents the discomfort.
I ordered them in pink (1)and the standard black (2). My daughter in-law had a pair for three years wearing them daily, in warmer weather as a sandal; otherwise as a slipper indoors. I did go down a size as I have a narrow foot. Love........them, thank you Back Country for another great item.

My size is just a hair over size 7 (i.e., I usually have to wear a 7.5, but deal with shoes slipping off my heel then). For the Balis, I ordered a 7, and I think they fit perfect. However, I have narrow feet with fairly flat arches. I think if I higher arches, the 7s would have been tight.
I Love these sandals! They are very comfortable and seem to be very good quality as well. I highly recommend them! They are comfortable if you have wide feet, too.

I have worn these sandals every day in the summer and have enjoyed great support and comfort, so much so I had to track them down on line as I couldn't find the same style in the store. I am now the proud owner of three pair and am VERY PLEASED!
I saw someone else with these and fell in love with them. I am always bumping my big toe and these provide the perfect protection from that. They are the most comfortable shoe. Improved over the old flip flop style, with nothing between your toes. Toured through out Europe with them, wore them everyday! Fit true to size.
These shoes felt broken-in right from the start -- all Keens do. And this is a great alternative to a flip-flop -- more secure, toes are safe, and no annoying thing between your toes.
As a mother of a 5 yr old boy, I am costantly on the go. Flip flops just won't cut it, and a friend had suggested these. I was worried they would not stay on my feet, but they absolutely do, and they feel wonderful! These are a must for mom's looking for a comfortable, cute sandal!
I hope these are still available. I bought a pair two years ago and loved them. I wore one of them out and need another. I hadn't thought of looking online. I don't care for the flip flop style of shoes any more. I like the Bali because my toe fronts are better protected and I don't jam things into my toes as much when I work in the garden. They don't look as clunky as Crocs which I have yet to try out although people say they feel great on.

Bought two pairs of Bali's last summer (black & lime). Great arch support, fashionable, and comfy. You can wear Bali's anywhere, in the garden, home, beach, lake, and with the Labrador who likes to stand on my feet. No more boo-boos on the toes! Loved these sandals so much that I am buying two more pairs this year!
I ordered these because they are so pretty and had great reviews...unfortunatly I am very disappointed and have had to return them. The fit was wrong. The right sandal was so tight across the top of the foot that I had trouble getting my foot in all the way to the correct position. The left was tight too, but not as bad. This maybe was some kind of manufacturing defect or fluke? Who knows? But they didn't work for me. I always wear the same size shoes, sneakers or sandals, so I don't believe it's just my feet. I had my friend who wears a 9 1/2 try them and they were tight on her as well. On the plus side the color was beautiful (I ordered the rosy color) and they felt so light weight. I wish they would've worked for me!

I love my Bali sandals. Easy slip on with protection for my toes. Great tracstion. I have the black, none of that gumbo mud shows through. However, had I seen the red, well, that would have been a no-brainer. I would have had to have them.

I love flipflops but happened to try on a friend's pair of Bali's and immediately ordered my own. They are so comfortable and look good too. I also highly recommend the Keen Bike sandals. I intend to wear those all winter as well!
I love them, they are comfy, and they look so cool. I hate thongs the piece between the toes always drive me crazy so these ones are perfect for me, I also love the fact that it protects the big toe. I have had alot of complements on them.
I own red, black, trooper/surf spray, 2 purple and process blue (turquoise). I have wide feet and they fit very nicely. I love being able to wash them because they always look new, and they dry very quickly. Having my toes protected is a great feature, yet they are cool in the summer heat. I would give these 10 stars for comfort. With black slacks, the black ones are forgiving for being so casual. I have ones I wear outside and a pair that are my inside shoes (slippers). What more can I say...
My friend Donna loves her Bali sandals. I thought they were cute, so I ordered a pair. But when they arrived I was disappointed. They didn't seem much better than a pair of flip-flops. Donna thought they ran a little small, but I think just the opposite. I ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear, but they were still too big. Maybe if they'd fit better I would've liked them better.

My feet are also big in relation to my size and flat. So these sandals offer me support and a way to have a open toe look without feeling embarrassed. Also, since they're waterproof, I can feel comfortable walking through puddles. The way these shoes are constructed, they will last longer than any flip flop out there. The service was also fast. They came within a few days after I ordered them which was in plenty of time for my trip to Florida.
These sandals are very pretty and quite cushy. However, I can't wear them because the straps are a bit too tight across the top of my instep and they are not adjustable, and the texture on the insole is very rough and irritates the soles of my feet. If you have slim feet, go for it, these sandals would probably be great for you. If you have hobbit feet like me, think twice before buying.
these sandals are great! i'm a lifeguard so i'm in them for my whole shift and they give me support comfort and grip on the tile deck. i've gotten tons of feedback on style and a few other lifeguards are wanting to get a pair themselves. I've recommend them to anyone who's looking for comfort and style. the toe cover is great becasue i always stub my toe so its been a great feature. overall I cant' wear any other sandals. I've even got my dad a pair in the mens style for christmas.
The customer service people were amazing - and so are the Keen sandals. I used to think Teva's were the ultimate, but I have to say the Keen's are at least even. I'll definitely buy from this site again.
However, the sandals are fine. The black is a better color for travel, the covered toes should not offend in addition to providing protection. But, these are flip flops (with the sound and feel).
I keep a spare in the trunk - I keep a pair of these in the trunk of my car for the times that I regret wearing any other shoe. Many a time I have kicked off whatever uncomfortable shoes that I was wearing at the time and slip into these. These are extremely versatile and sturdy enough to sprint across the street or even go on a little hike. Everyone should keep a pair of these on hand or in your car trunk. I have several pairs!
The Bali's are a comfortable flip flop alternative with just enough added protection at the toes for those days when you are off the paved sidewalk and likely to run into misc. items found in nature...sticks, rocks, shells, tree roots and stumps, toys (!) etc.. Love that you can throw these in the washing machine to clean. Easy to walk around in, never needed to break them in, no blisters or stiffness. I live in the part of the country where Keen's aren't all that popular yet so I'm still getting used to the big toe look, but their pluses have me won over.
I will definitely check back to this site for future purchases. I had tries the Keen Newports in the past but they gave me callouses-Yikes! The Bali style has a smoother, flatter footbed which is good for my narrow, "bunion" affected feet. Good buy!
I bought them for my girlfriend for her birthday in the middle of July. I got her the discontinued purple color and she is in love with them. She wears sandals all winter long, even in the crazy New England Weather, so we'll see how they hold up. The service was tremendous; they got here quickly and the price was right. I would definitely shop with this site again.
I only had the chance to wear both sandals for two hours before injuring my foot, but they were two great hours. Now I wear the right sandal and I love it. They are so comfy and look great with everything. So much better then the average flip-flop.
These are the best. I get a lot of compliments on my Balis, I got them in mango, it looks a little like a sunburst on my foot! As for comfort, they are perfect, feel way more secure than flip-flops, and of course protect your feet. All the things you love about flips but with tons of bonuses!
Great service, seemed like I ordered them one day and they were at my front door the next! Awesome sandals! They’re very colorful and comfortable. I do a four-mile walk by the beach and wear these sandals every time. There wasn't a "breaking in" period, come to think of it, I haven't met a Keen shoe I didn't like!
I love Keen and everything about Keen. I own a "later" model of these sandals in a kiwi green however they are flip-flop type. So when in the water on rocks or walking down the street to the market they are NOT a slide, you can keep them on. However, these ARE a slide. And the width of the straps does not secure your foot into the shoes. I sent them back. If they had the little toe grip, they'd be perfect. I love ya Keen but I can't lounge on Bali wearing your Bali's--I gotta move around!
