Icebreaker Commute Crew Jersey - Short-Sleeve - Men's - 2011 BCS
We aren't saying merino wool is the perfect fabric. It isn't edible if you find yourself foodless in the wild, and it can't run home from work and turn on the stereo if you forgot to leave it on for your dog. What the Icebreaker Men's Commute Crew Jersey does do is regulate your body temperature (keep you warm when you need to be and vent excess heat when you hit your stride). And it fights post-workout odor so you don't have to change it the minute you stop moving (and so your office mates won't pass out before you get a chance to change). Icebreaker is still working on the other features. The dog thing will be tough, though.

Pros: The material: awesome. Soft, with a very nice fit. Athletic and easy to move in. Looks smooth and sharp.
Cons: The biggie is the placket across the back at mid-shoulder level, which is thicker than the rest of the shirt. I can feel it resting against my back, and if I move my shoulders around, I can feel the seam pulling tight all the way across my back like a string. Also at that back placket on one side, a small reflective tag, and on the front, they stitched one shoulder in red stitching. The reflexite makes sense for safety, but the red stitching doesn't, and both make it look a little too technical, not my goal for regular wear. Too bad.
