Good For Aerobic Activities

I bought the Chase Beanie to use for winter hiking, snowshoeing, etc. I think 200-250 weight merino is generally a pretty good weight for these type of activities. The beanie is warm and dry when active, but it doesn't hold up very well to wind and doesn't do much to keep your head warm if you are standing still. However, it would fit perfectly under a helmet while managing sweat and not overheating.

Ultimately, I ended up giving the Chase Beanie to my brother and getting the Pocket 200 Beanie, because it was thicker, warmer, and bigger. I have kind of a big noggin' and the Chase Beanie fit his head much better than mine. Overall I would give this beanie a B+/A-.
