Actually this piece is quite different from the rest of Icebreaker line. It is in the new BlackSheep collection- it is a fine gauge sweater collection meant for casual wear and not technical aspects. I loaded a pic of a model with the hood up.

I don't have this specific piece, but if it is like the other Icebreaker pieces with hoods the hood will fit very close to the head. I wear my helmet over the hood of my GT 320.

It is approximately 200 gm/sq meter. It is a new fully fashioned knitwear line from Icebreaker. Feels like cashmere.
