Slip on the Globe Men's Castro Shoes, tip-toe into your neighbor's garden, and steal some fresh mint for a mojito. These killer slip-on kicks have hand-sewn details, super cushy EVA footbeds, and imitation sheepskin linings to keep you comfortable while you sneak back to your kitchen and mix up a refreshing beverage.
Bottom Line:
Slip into Globe Castro Shoes for a taste of Cuban style.
These kicks are awesome, super comfortable and the perfect shoes to wear with jeans, shorts or whatever. I am considering buying another pair in a different color to keep my style fresh.

I have wanted a couple select castro shoes, however they have been out of stock every time I check to buy them. Is there a way to special order them or is it just a first come first serve? The shoes I am refering to are the Castro White/Blue Check. Thanks
i own the castro in 5 different colors, they are amazing. i use them at work, chilling with friends, going out clubbing. i even got married in my castros. soo comfy and with amazing style, you just cant go wrong. GET THEM NOW!
Hey keaton722379600, that's not a problem. Hit up the "Help" link in the top right hand corner of the page. That will take you to the DogFunk.com Help Center. From there, the Return and Exchange Policies will be in a link on the left side of the page. Click on that and you'll see our return policy and instructions.
it's a little ironic that i bought these kicks right before Castro stepped down. they are pretty comfy, but are sized small (i wear a 12 but i bought these in an 11). A little bit tight on the tootsies at first but now they are like walking on clouds. The only thing that stinks about these shoes is the actual smell created by my feet when i wear them for too long. i bought the GD-cord ones. buy these!
I've had slip ons and I've had slippers. The Globe Castro combines them both. They're comfy and easy enough to wear around the house but versatile and stylish enough to wear out for a night on the town. They were my "airport shoe" for my last vacation and were awesome. You can walk all the way across the airport, sit down in the terminal, and just slip them off. Go order a pair now.
I got these Castro's for Christmas, and now I wear them almost every single day. They are as comfortable as slippers, but still are sturdy and rugged enough to wear outside as a shoe. it has a regular Globe sole on it, so it's like a skate shoe/slipper!
It would all depends on the material of the shoe. The Globe Castro can be leather, suede, or canvas. Don't be afraid to throw the canvas ones in with the laundry. The leather/suede ones, I recommend treating with a spray. You can usually get them at a shoe store or pay them a little extra cash and they'll do it for you. If you already own and they are dirty a little water on a rag and some elbow grease should do the job. You may want to contact your local cleaners if that doesn't work. See if they have suggestions.
These are great for summer. They act like a sandal when needed, or a shoe. Dress 'em up, dress 'em down, either way you really can't go wrong. Super casual feeling, and comfortable after the initial break-in period. At the dogfunk discounted price, these are a sure thing.
This is my second pair, I love them. The feel a bit loose, but they are comfy as hell. They feel like they may slip off at times, but that doesn't bother me. I am a big guy and they fit just right. I owned my first pair for a long time but, they are not ideal for 4wheeling through the mud, hence the second pair.
First off, mad comfy shoes, look great. Only problem is that when I ordered I thought the "canvas" would be lighter brown turns out its a real darkshade of brown, but even with this tiny flaw the shoes are raw! The black on brown looks great and will make anyone have SWAG
Would only wear these for a slipper. Ended up giving them away because they fell off my feet to easily to skate in and the sole didn't have enough give to be my go to slipper.
Nothing to complain about. Globe did well with these comfortable loafers. Fits true to size. I ordered mine a size large, and guess what, they showed up a size large. Like earlier reviews said they do get a bit stinky if worn for too long. This is probably due to the limited breathe-ability, as I tend to not have the stinky foot problem. Great looking and guaranteed to get compliments.
Where can I find the shoes in your pic? The globe Castro's white with plaid top? I used to have the same pair and want to buy new ones but cant find them anywhere. All i cman find is suede ones. Thanks
Got the gray/light gray stripe for $4 on Whiskey Militia, which was basically a steal. They fit true to size and are really comfortable. I use them mainly as a slipper though because they just don't seem sturdy enough for skating. Still one of my favorite lounging shoes. One bad part though - my GF's always taking them on me...
If you're messing around or just hanging out they are awesome. They are like slippers for the outside world. Mine had no problems holding up. I had the plaid ones as my first pair and wore them hard (to bars and in the rain and snow) and they lasted 8 months ish. Got my second pair in the tweed and they are awesome. Beware they are sized small, I wear 11 and bought these in a 10.
I recently received these shoes in the White/Plaid and LOVED how they looked and was happy to have chosen them. However, they did't last at all. They were indeed comfortable but after walking a total of 4 city blocks the stitching on BOTH shoes was coming undone around the toes and the shoes were unusable without a lot of repair work. Maybe it was bad luck, but I've heard of poor construction from Globe before.
I also need to comment on the shoe box that looks like a cigar box, rad!! As for the shoe... it's pretty cut and dry, yet it still manages complete comfort. A sense of being more carefree is present as I walk around the office in these loafers. Totally worth the price. (I went with the Granite/Khaki style)
I got these as well as the Globe Don Shoe and both are most excellent. I am a fan of slipper-type shoes so these are a must buy just like the awesome Don Shoe. Def get these.
The Globe Castro is the perfect way to relax when those dogs are barkin'. They are a comfortable shoe that isn't quite a slipper. They have a great outsole that will allow you to trek all over town but still make you feel like you are in the comforts of your home. Don't walk long distances in these though. A full day of walking in these and your dogs will need to be put down.
I love by Black/Charcoal Castros... They're so comfortable to lounge around in especially since I got them a little bit looser. I'd recommend for chillin' around the house/dorm or stepping outside for a quick one, nothing too strenuous or requiring too much travel.
I bought myself the black/pinstripe pair for vacation in August '07. I was told recently that my dad was kinda jealous and wanted a pair for himself. So when Christmas rolled around, I got him the black/flannel version.
Moral of the story: Stylish shoe, whether you're 25 or 62.
These shoes are the best! I got the khaki ones with the fuzzy fur on the tongue and I love them! Super comfortable for lounging around the house, or for wearing to class on those cold days. I love being able to slip them on and off as I please. Watch out though, because they sometimes get a little flip-floppy on ya. Buy them!!
I was stoked to get the shoes, I have wanted to get them for a while. They are good looking shoes, but I only wore them twice and they came untied around the toe where they are seamed. they have sat in my closet since and I havent worn them. I was pretty dissapointed
So I like these shoes. Dont skate in em. They will rip. All in all I like them, I have the white shoes and I polished them brown. Now they are church shoes... hooray.
these are my all time favorite shoes. comfy, warm, and I am always getting asked about them. I have three pairs and counting. I consider them a must -have for anyone who hates tying their shoes, having cold feet, or loves to pull off the "I can wear my castros with anything and still be rockin" look.
Don't get the tweed ones. They don't have the fur on the inside like all other models do, and mine ripped after I wore them for 3 days....I had another pair or the original ones and they were good, but my tweed ones were less than satisfactory.
I just got mine just recently, and I have to say I'm quite content with them. I basically slip them on with I'm around the house, if I need to grab something from the grocery store, or if Im chillin on the patio etc. I enjoy them, but if you want more versatility (like actually wearing them out for longer periods) I would probably recommend something in a vans slip-on.
Got my Castros in the brown pin stripe and they are quality! Got stung by UK customs loads and I was the subject a much piss taking for buying what worked out to be the most expensive slippers in the world (with the delivery and the customs charges they cost the equivilent of about $120 all in) I reckon they were worth it.
