Fox Racing System Leg Armor - 2009

Fox Racing System Leg Armor - 2009 BCS

Item # FXR0096

Fox Racing’s System Leg Armor features a two in one design that improves flexibility and protection. A neoprene and nylon knee sleeve tops off the high impact plastic shell. The knee gasket uses a pull-over flap to hold the knee pad securely in place. Fox gave these pads an asymmetrical design for unparalleled leg comfort and adjustable elastic straps for a snug fit around the shin and calf.

Bottom Line:

Don’t fight the System.

Solid Pads!

I like the sleeve that comes with these they prevent the knee pad from snagging my shorts make them fit securely. They are not terribly ventilated so i have yet to vouch for them on hot days. These pads are beefy and I would no doubt use them racing woods MX. if your looking for something ultra light and vented check elsewhere. But if you want your legs to be protected and not pay a ton of cash. These are a solid bet. also... i am 5'10", 165 and i got the s/m. Fits great. If you have monster legs then get a large

Kind of Annoying

These pads do serve a purpose. They are very thick and allow you to hit objects with your leg and feel them less. Other than that they are kind of a pain in the butt. They have a built in sleeve that is suppose to help it stay on your leg better, but in my opinion it just makes it slide around more. The sleeve is also annoying because you have to take off your shoe to put the pad on. I wouldn't buy them again, but then again, their price was cheap...so maybe I would

Says its 21" long. That seem very long! Can you tell me how long it is from the bottom of the knee pad? Thanks!

21" is the measurement of your leg just above your knee down to your ankle. The actual pad is only 14-15 inches long. The L/XL is 16" long. Thanks

good protection

These pads offer great protection, but they are super hot. wearing them in weather over 60 is nearly unbearable. The sleeve that fits around your leg is extremely hot and gets sweaty after only a few minutes of riding. I would only use these for winter riding.

Safe biking

I ordered mine when they were on sale for $20. Great protection, good size, comfortable and easy to carry around. The original price is still worth it.
