Fox Racing Sergeant Shorts
The folks at Fox have a talent for making high-performance mountain bike shorts look like shorts that you would wear kicking around town. Fox Racing's Sergeant Shorts are made with a removable liner and two-way stretch fabric to make them comfortable while you're hammering singletrack. To look at them, though, you'd think they were just stylish casual shorts.
The Sergeant Short is well-equipped. Quick-dry cotton construction ensures cool, dry comfort, even on all-day epics, and 2-way stretch eliminates binding for an unlimited range of motion. The removable liner makes the Sergeant as comfortable as spandex tights, but without the inevitable comments from the peanut gallery. The other benefit of the removable liner is that you can use it with your other shorts or with softshell baggie pants for winter riding.
The Sergeant Cargo Short is also loaded with pocket space. Two hand pockets are convenient while you're wearing the Sergeant as a casual short, and the cargo pockets allow you to carry things riding without them digging into your leg. A specialized media pocket with audio interface takes care of your MP3 player, and a large thigh cargo pocket with hook-and-loop flap adds more valuable storage.
Fox Racing Sergeant Shorts come in Dark Khaki and are available in even sizes 32 through 38.
