Foursquare Stevo Jacket - Men's - 2009

Foursquare Stevo Jacket - Men's - 2009 BCS

Item # FSQ0454

The Foursquare Stevo Jacket features a longer cut and an integrated powder skirt, so no matter how deep the snow is, it stays out of your base layers. With 15K-rated waterproofing, the Stevo Jacket sheds snow and sleet when riding out shit-blizzards and if you get buried the integrated Recco reflector will give patrol direction. When the clouds burn off, unzip the Foursquare jackets underarm zips to cool off. Foursquare hit up the Stevo with plenty of pockets to squirrel away your gear nuggets.

Bottom Line:

Protection for fresh tracks.

I've used this one day on the mountain so far and I like it quite a bit. The sleeves are the perfect length which almost never happens for me in a jacket. There are so many bells and whistles that I'm still finding things and having a great time doing so. I have two beefs. First, the inside of the collar isn't very soft and was rubbing my chin and lip raw until I threw on a bandanna, then it wasn't a problem. Second, there are a few spots with marks already. I can't yet tell if the jacket has been compromised or if they are superficial marks. Other than these, which may not even be problems, I'm pretty amped about this jacket.

bad jacket

i bought this jacket just before the new year . the zipperhead broke off day one due to a design flaw, then during the best powder day on the northeast the bottom of the "male side" of the zipper and the entire thing came apart. the velcro on the wrist fell off. piece of crap, i was so pissed i wrote 'this jacket sucks' and put it in the sleeves of the foursquare jackets they were selling in the shop so that when people tried the jackets on the post-it was automatically in their hand.

Can't wait to get it on the mountain

This jacket is perfect for shredding. The fit is loose without being baggy; there's definitely room to layer comfortably. The sleeves are long and don't ride up when I bend over to tighten my bindings, which was always a problem in other jackets. The material is pretty heavy, but I don't mind because the thing feels bomb-proof.

Does anyone know how this jacket fits? I am looking for something

Does anyone know how this jacket fits? I am looking for something similar to the "freedom fit" from special blend, wondering if 4square has something similar?

i shoulda got the XL. it does fit good in large, but by the time i have all my layers on and my helmet, it does feel a bit restricted. Ninja mask is a plus, this jacket is good warmth/waterproof for the price. Classic looking jacket. Seems very durable. Good tech features on this shell..

is the xL massive or what? I am used to a L from special blend actually fitting "large", and not having to deal with short arms or snow blowing up my ass, 6'1 long arms

This year they are going to fit vary similarly. FourSquare is not call the "freedom fit" but they look close to the same. If you get the right size it will look really good. I wear Large and I am 6'.

Top Notch, A Grade $h!T Great Function and Steeze with 0 comprimise

Great shell! loaded with features, fit is definitely loose but right where you want it, perfect for layering a flan and hoodie. I'm 6'2" 170 got an XL and couldn't be happier. Get compliments everywhere on it slopes/office/around town. The top material is unique, it feels, looks, and performs incredibly. It is charcoal and not black.

To address zipper concerns, it has a great 'waterproofing' seal like most high end rain jackets so don't expect to yank it up, it takes a slow pull. The other zippers aren't burly, but so far no issues. Really though, they do have a 180 day Manufacturer Warranty, so there is no need for passive aggressive jabs at your local shops.

GET IT! You can look, but you will not beat this quality and style for the price.
