El Naturalista Wakataua N430 - Women's - 2009 BCS
The designer who created the El Naturalista Women\222s Wakataua N430 Sandal made the outsole to look like a Maori carving. Wakataua is what the Maori people of New Zealand call their canoes, and these cork-bed sandals with leather uppers and recycled outsoles will have your feet floating along in comfort.

Tricky but it works for me

The sandals look fabulous..however they are cut a bit narrow so if you have broad feet - this may not be the best fit and you will have your toes hanging off.
I have really long and skinny feet, fortunately for me these fit pretty well.
When I first tried them on, I felt the back elastic pushing my feet forward and this led to the front of my toes hanging over the front of the sole. But I wore them around the house an entire morning and realised that the sandal does start conforming to the shape of my foot and they are a whole lot better now.
I almost went back to return them but I've changed my mind - definitely a keeper!

Hmmm...I have, "cute little sausage toes," according to my friend Annie, and they were too long for these, when I ordered my normal size of 39. I'm going to exchange for a 40, and see. However, it could be that they were built with the toe area too close to the front of the shoe. Anyone else?
They are also not as well built in the arch/stiffness area as I had hoped. But, again...will have to get the right fit and spend some time in them.
