Dynastar Exclusive Legend Powder Ski - Women's

Item # DYN0241

If you’re an advanced skier seeking one ski to rule both coasts, The Dynastar Exclusive Legend Powder Ski will run with the best of them. A women's-specific design and wide freeride shape provide unparalleled control and predictable behavior whether you're charging the deep or cutting corduroy. Auto Drive sidewall design adds heel lift and places the binding mounting point 1.5cm forward, better accommodating a woman's balance and center of gravity and helping you ski longer and stronger. Dynastar's snappy wood/Rohacell core produces enough snap to punch through crud and arc down groomers without the lagging weight of a full wood core ski, while the 85-millimeter waist still sails on top of the light stuff. In tight trees, the Exclusive Legend Powder’s nimble sidecut dances where most fat skis struggle.

Bottom Line:

Don’t take a powder—dominate it.

Hi, I am not an advanced skier....just moving from the wedge to parallel....soooo, my question is "Is this too much ski for me or is it something I can grow into?" I live in Oregon....natural snow but often hard packed. If this isn't a good ski do you have a recommendation of what is? Thanks

Nice powder ski

I mounted Fritche Freerides on these babies hoping to use them all over the mountain. Skied them backcountry on the Teton Pass and they rocked in the pow. Skied them in some crud at my local resort and they did ok. Today skied them on some slightly icy groomers and they were not so great! A little disappointing. They seem to chatter on higher speed turns, so much that it almost took me down once or twice!! I'm not sure if it's the ski or the Fritchi's or my skiing! I'm thinking I may need to keep these as my backcountry skis and get another setup for resort skiing. I demo'd the Exclusive Legend a couple months and really loved them, that's probably what I'll end up with.
