Slide your feet into the DC Men's Villain Skate Shoes, twist the ends of your moustache, and say \357\277\275Mmmyeees\357\277\275. Then swirl your cape around you and ride into the night. DC made these moccasin-style shoes from plush suede and lined them with soft, breathable mesh for a not-so-evil feel. The Villain Shoe's hidden EVA midsole provides lightweight cushioning for skulking around town, and the trademark pill pattern sole gives you excellent traction.
After my dog ate my other loafers I needed a new pair to wear around the house.. I found these and these are the most comfortable shoes I've worn. I wear them everywhere, I'm wearing them right now. You should be to if you want to be comfortable.
I am not going to write a long drawn out review about the DCs, we all love the kicks. This review is about dogfunk and their service excellence. Had my size, great shipping costs and options, perfect product when it arrived, not to mention damn competitive pricing! Need I say more.. Thank you dogfunk!
These shoes are so comfy and I wear them with anything! They are classy, and casual, and so dang comfy! I wear them with just jeans or even with dress pants. Anywhere and anyway you wear them they are beautiful!
I would not say they are loose. I would say they are a comfortable snug fit. but this also depends on the width of your foot. I have a wide toe base, and these puppies are so comfy and snug that I actually have 3 pair and looking to invest in some more.
They were a christmas present for my boyfriend, he loves them and thinks they are the most comfortable slipper-shoes he has ever owned. I want a pair in my size!
I am a DC shoe fanatic and the DC Villain TX just adds to an already exciting line of shoes. I mean the basic Villain isn't all that its cracked up to be but when its in TX form, Blueplaid scotch design its just too sweet to even lick. I have six pair of DC shoes and i am thinking of adding this too my growing collection. If only i could find an outlet in South Africa that sells the Villain TX. I couldn't be bothered about other labels DC just makes me feel whole. But if I was you and you were close to a store I would get me a pair in Blue scotched. Five out of FIve
I own two different colors of this shoe, and they are by far my favorite, most comfortable. Stylish yet comfy, look good with jeans for a night out, or with sweatpants for a morning in...would definitely recommend you buy these, especially if you're reading this on Whiskey and they're like $20 or something.
These babies are so comfortable, it's like wearing a pair of ultra comfortable slippers. Maybe that's why I look so sleepy when I wear them to work! :-)
I have the white pair with the nylon top. For the top I use a foaming sneaker cleaner, and for the leather and rubber, I went to Champs and got their magic sponges. Best shoe cleaner for white shoes.
It would all depend on the material your DC Villain is made from. If they are leather or suede I would not recommend it. If they are a textile (canvas or a fabric material) go for it. Use a pretreatment (Spray n Wash, Shout, etc) to get the heavy dirt out and throw them in a cold cycle. I don't recommend putting them in the dryer. Let them air dry. If you do have the leather or suede ones check your local store or shoe peddler for a good leather/suede cleaner or use a damp cloth and try to rub that dirt out.
The DC Villain Men's shoes are so comfortable and cool looking and the best part is that they go with everything! They are like wearing slippers yet so much more practical!
My boyfriend bought me the red version of these shoes for my birthday and they are so comfy i wear them everyday. i agree with the other reviews that they go with everything and you never want to take them off but after 2 weeks of semi-constant wear and tear the string that holds the top of the shoe to the sides start coming undone on both shoes same side. it is extremely disappointing.
If you have the DC Villain in a leather style you can usually take a damp rag and wipe them down really well. Don't scrub too hard. You don't want to take the color out of the leather. If you have the suede I would suggest the same then spray them with a suede protector.
I too had the Globe Castros and the stitching blew out. Thanks to my McGiver(ish) skills I was able to repair them, but it wasn't enough. I picked up a pair of these and am really happy. They're a little more narrow than the Castros, but feel way more solid and look just as good.

i just wanted to inquire about a shoe style. I am currently looking to find a pair of dc villain shoes with the model number 3d1361? i currently have a pair and am looking to buy the same pair again or somthing very similar as a gift. but i cannot find anything with that matching model/ style number. the number i gave u is the number i found on the inside of the shoe on the tag.
Any chance you could help me with this? or show me a similar mens shoe? also can these shoes be worn as "slippers" (kinda a weird question i know!)
Corrina. The DC Villain is the correct shoe you are looking for. As a matter of fact, DC has created different options for this shoe which are on Dogfunk. Check out the Villain TX and the Villain SE. They are the same model but with different fabrics. There is also a few women specific Villains. You will find those on the Women's Shoes page or just type in Villain in the search. There are other shoe companies that carry a similar product. Look to the left of the Dogfunk page and you will see a option that says Men's Shoes. Click on Men's Lifestyle Shoes and that will bring up all kinds of other options.
My little brothers turned me on to these shoes about 6 months ago, and now, they're the only shoe I wear. They're stylish, comfortable, and very high quality. I buy them 2 pairs at a time, and don't see myself buying any other shoe for a LONG time.
Either way is good but if you get smell shoes I recommend socks, especially in summer. If you wear socks go with the same color or anything but white. That just looks silly.
due it depends on what color the Villain is... if its the white one which i highly recommend you get, then i recommend white and no show... and even with any color i just recommend no show...
My boyfriend absolutly loves these shoes!! they can be dressed up or down with a nice pair of jeans and if you add a blazer makes the outfit look nicer. I love the shoes on him very trendy. Him and his bestfriend claim they are the most comfortable shoe ever made.
I got a pair of black leather villains two years ago, and they are still causing mayhem where ever they go, From Tahoe snow storms to Nor Cal rain shower, and everywhere in between. These DC slips are the balls...
It really depends on where you live. Florida, they will probably be pretty comfy, where as if you live in Siberia, you might get a bit of frost bite, but only a bit.
Very beast. Looks good with everything. Casual. Very comfortable. Only con Ive seen so far is; the seams undo after a few months. Duct tape or sew it back &its good as new.
these things are so comfy! i bought the white ones and they pretty much go with anything. i wear them around the house and at the office since it's winter, but i can definately see myself wearing these all summer. i say buy em up son!
