DC Park Snowboard Boot - Men's

Item # DCS4467

You have searched high and low for a boot that's flexible enough to butter and press through the park but still has the support to not fold your ankles as soon as you touchdown on the landing of a kicker. The DC Park Boot has seen your smoke signals and is here to answer the call. The Park Boot's Park Bravo liner features a neoprene ankle harness and anatomical J-Bars provides a freestyle specific articulation with a liner height similar to your favorite pair of high tops.

  • AeroTech ventilation system breathes easy when you're heating up with vents in the liner and the shell to send moisture packing
  • Wrap Lock lacing hardware secures lacing without slipping and turns traditional laces into zonal lacing with the ability to lock at key points
  • Direct Power Lacing provides optimal shell closure and leverage with overlapping lace guides
  • Articulated cuff applies a hinge-like motion to the shell's instep to provide natural movement without bowing out
  • UniLite outsole absorbs more shock, provides more traction, and wears less while using less material
  • Aegis antimicrobial treatment in the liner fights foot funk

Bottom Line:

Designed for park destruction with comfort in mind.

Don't tighten that well

By:
March 8, 2013

These boots are light and comfy but, unfortunately, they are a pain to tighten and tend to loosen up several times during the day. The half liner is a cool idea but because of it the only things that hold your feet in are the outer laces which take take a bit of awkward pulling to get completely tight. Other than this big issue, these boots perform well in the park and everywhere else.

Great Boots

By:
October 28, 2012

These boots are a great buy for $100! They fit about a half size smaller so be sure to size up, but they fit amazing for me! I like the half liners that they come with and the flex is perfect for me! These are a really good buy!

How warm/waterproof are these boots just on a normal day on the mountain? And how do they do on the rest of the mountain seeing that they are specified as park boots?

The main things that make this a park boot is it is a bit softer and it has DC's low profile liner. it is going to offer the same warmth and waterproofing as anything else in this price range.

Sick boots

Great pair of boots. Feels like you wearing some skate shoes and has all the support in all the right places. They also keep the feet warm but vent well enough you feet won't get over sweaty.

I use these boots for all mountain riding and for snowmobiling. If you like your boots to have a loose feel to them I would say get them. I like my pair a lot.

This boot is specified as park because of the park liners but they will be just fine on the rest of the mountian.

Low Profile Boot

These boots are super unique. The inner liner stops above the ankle, allowing the feel of a mid top skate shoe. This also allows the boot to be super slim in girth. This means less toe drag and you can fit in smaller bindings.

I found that these fit about 1/2 smaller than a Burton. I normally wear a 9.5 in Burton, but I wear a 10 in these.

Flexwise, I would say these are more like a 4/10, with 10 being the stiffest.

Fun boots, fell apart after 23 days on hill and DC is unable to warranty. Thank god dogfunk is at least legit. Dont mess with the hassle of DC and go for something a little higher quality for the money.
