DAKINE Tracker Jr Mitten - Kids' - 2008 BCS

Item # DAK1025

The DAKINE Kids' Tracker Jr. Mitten prevents a fun day in the snow from being ruined by frozen fingers. The waterproof, breathable DK Dry inserts act as the main line of defense against the elements. Thermoloft insulation and a soft tricot lining ensure warmth and soft comfort. The Tracker Jr. Mitten’s large gauntlet with drawstring closure fits over a jacket cuff to create an added barrier against the snow and wind. DAKINE completed this mitten with burly RubberTec palms to make them durable enough for days of shredding, dragging sleds, and playing in the snow.

Bottom Line:

Keep your kid's hands warm on the coldest winter days with the well-insulated DAKINE Tracker Jr. Mitts.

I am looking for gloves/mittens for my kids, that will keep them warm in -10 F, it is really hard to judge how warm these things are without seeing them. Will they do the job or would you recommend something else?

Solid mittens

By:
November 26, 2008

I bought these mittens for my 5 year old's ski lessons this year. I found out last year that one of the most important pieces of gear for the little ones are warm, waterproof gloves. Last year he did more playing and eating the snow than he did skiing so it was imperative for his enjoyment to have dry warm hands. These mitts fit the bill perfectly, and I don't have to try to fit each finger in their corresponding hole, which helps my patience level too! Love 'em.

Bought these for my little boy and he loves them.... Say's they're cool! They are very well insulated and are obviously easy to put on. They seem to keep all the moisture out but his hands aren't sweaty either so they are a really nice balance. Great Find!
