Great buy for flying or just to keep gear conveniently together. I bought it in a black hounds tooth longer than my board to carry other items. The shoulder strap really helps to lug it through airports.

Just what I wanted

By:

I will be using this bag when I fly and I think it's padded enough to protect my board and my boots. I may pad it further with my jacket and pants.
The cheetah print is really cute; it's girly, but not too girly. The interior is a nice insulated waterproof liner, similar to the ones they line lunch bags with (shiny silver). I like the detachable shoulder strap and the handles for carrying. The bag is very light, so the only weight you'll be carrying is that of your board, boots, etc
My board is a bit long (60") and it fits perfectly, even with maybe an inch to spare. My bindings are still attached and I have no trouble zipping the bag shut. My boots fit perfectly (Women's size 9). In other words, it's a very roomy bag. Hope my review helps!

I don't know yet but I'm pretty sure it does. It would be hard to carry without it! I'll let you know on Monday when I get mine!

great all around bag

By:
December 28, 2010

I bought this bag for my girlfriend who rides a 157. she is able to put all her gear into it including boots, helmet, goggles, jacket/pants and gloves. I've read some reviews saying that the 157 bag fits small, yet i was able to put my 158.5 in it with no problems. For a padded board bag you can't find better than the Dakine Tour snowboard bag. the two boot pockets work great for storing that extra gear. all in all this bag gets the job done and gets it done right.

What's the difference between this and the men's tour

What's the difference between this and the men's tour bag- are they essentially the same size? My board is a 154, does the 157 leave me enough room to put some clothes/gear in it?

I have the 157 bag, my board is a 152 Salomon Ivy with M Lexa bindings and I have plenty of room for everything! Boots, helmet, goggles, and I got this for my trip to Colorado so I even packed my jacket, pants and gloves for extra padding on the plane. Overall, an awesome bag!

dope bag

By:
March 29, 2010

I wasn't sure if the bag would be big enough for my 154 board. It fits, with an inch or two to spare on either end. My size 10 women's vans fit just fine in the pockets, but then didn't leave tons of room for gear in the bag. Maybe just enough room for pants, gloves, socks- goggs if you are careful. I haven't used it to fly yet. My one travel trip I decided last minute to get a rental vs. lugging my equipment stand-by. Seems like it will be a great bag, though.

Cute and functional

By:
March 16, 2010

Love this bag! I needed a large bag that would fit my board with attached bindings, boots and gear for a trip to Denver and this bag easily fit the bill. I have a 152 Burton Feelgood with W Escapade bindings and everything (jacket, pants, boots, extra clothes) easily fit into the 157 bag. Plus the cute Cheetah print got some nice comments. The bag is well-padded and protected my board through two different airline's baggage handling. The shoulder strap is also padded which helps lessens the pressure across the strap. I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a stylish yet functional snowboard bag!

Dakine "AWESOME" Snowboard Bag

By:
February 8, 2010

The bag is Awesome!I I was looking for a bag for my 12 year old daughter who is in ski club and i wanted something that would make it easy for her to carry her board as well as her boots, helmet and some smaller gear items all in one bag. Well this is the bag. This bag is well made, from the outerside material to the inside material which protects her equipment . The zippers are a nice heavy duty kind so opening and closing if very smooth. If you are looking for a bag that will hold more than just a board this is it!! The plaid design is great looking as well.
