DAKINE Step-Up Glove - Men's

Item # DAK1101

The Step-Up Bike Glove from DAKINE uses a tough-ass Durafuse leather palm and an articulated cut for strength and comfort. When the mercury rises, the Step-Up shuts it down with a breathable nylon back panel. The slip-on design eliminates bulky wrist closures and silicone finger grippers maintain lever control when the trail gets hectic.

I usually wear a large glove for skiing and mountain biking but I found with this glove I HAD TO WEAR AN EXTRA LARGE,but they fit great with one the size up!

Def. size up. I tried these on in the store. I like tight gloves and usually wear M. These i needed an L, and they were still tight (good tight). Size up.

Mike is right. These gloves run at least a full-size small. They are nice, but if you are a large, order an extra-large. Don't waste your money on postage returning the first order and re-ordering the correct size like I'm currently doing...

good gloves

decent deal on Huck n Roll, like 'em better than my old Fox gloves which were more than $10 more. I wear a medium in most stuff, but sized up to a large following the advice in the reviews. They showed up, I put 'em on, and they fit like, well, a glove! Good comfortable fit without any velcro scratching my nose, snug but not tight. I haven't been able to try them out in any kind of serious heat, but they seem light enough to be comfy on a hot day. The fingertips seemed snug at first but actually impart a great deal of dexterity so many tasks are easily done one-handed, putting on lip balm, finding lip balm in a jersey pocket, changing music on my iPhone thru the glove and the plastic baggie- a big plus. Waiting to see how long they will last.

Um..if you're riding Mt Hood in the summer yeah these are warm enough, but if you're trying to rock these on the Wasatch in January, I wouldn't recommend it. This is meant to keep you palms cool, not keep 'em warm.

Great glove

By:

Got these through chain love, got three pairs. I have narrow palms and long fingers, for most gloves I have to get a large which fits great in the fingers but bunches in the palm. I have found that Dakine gloves have long fingers and I can use medium for a perfect fit bulge free.

I was initially concerned with the palms as they are fairly thin, after riding north shore trails (live in North Vancouver BC) and taking a few palm open spills, that is no longer an issue.

Great Glove

These gloves are great for a light glove and getting a grip on your bars. I bought the black and they work perfect for cross country biking and mountain biking.

Runs smaller than usual.

I returned these gloves because they where tight in the wrong places. Dakine size small are fitted on me, that why I purchase them, but these pinched at webbing between the thumb and forefinger. Very uncomfortable.

Size up!

Nice...

By:

The step-ups are a solid built and nicely vented glove however, a problem occurs when trying to get the right size as said previously the sizing is terrible and runs small by one full size. That being said it is a nice glove offering adequate protection and padding the wipe pad is a nice feature too.
p.s. white gets dirty fast

Review Title

I usually wear a woman's medium but the men's small fits. They are super cool looking (I have the "gradient" that is not on this site) but don't have much padding for those white-knuckle rides. The seams left black dye on my hands after the first few rides but I'm a fan.
