Cutter made the AL15 Aluminum Alloy Bottle Cage tough enough for life on your fixie and light enough to make the cut for your road bike. This durable, versatile water bottle cage works well on just about any bike unless you’re the type that weighs everything on a gram scale while you’re building your steed.
I just couldn't bring myself around to paying $40 for a bottle cage (SEE: carbon-obsession) ... and I'm stoked that I didn't.
This cage is lightweight (it's only a few grams heavier than the carbon), and thanks to its black coating, it doesn't have that cheap-ass-I-just-took-this-off-my-sister's-huffy aluminum look.
Highly recommended if you don't need carbon to hold your water bottle.
I purcahed this cage because it looked looked it had enough room between the mounts for my derailleur clamp and still held my bottle close enough to my seat tube to keep from interfering with my bottle coge on my down tube (I have a small frame and the bottle mounts are very close). Unfortunately it looks like there wasn't enough thought as to how the screws would attach the cage to the frame and my bottle rubs agaings the screw heads whenever I access the bottle. (I would have given 4 stars if not for this problem.)
If you arent a weight freak then these are the way to go. Not that they are heavy by any means, they just arent carbon fiber. It holds a water bottle, what more do you want it to do. Black goes with any color bike so that is always good too.
I'm not a racer, so I'm not in to paying high dollar for a lightweight cage. This was is cheap, works great, and isn't really that heavy. I'd recommend it.

what is the attachment method? the bike I need a cage for, an old garage sale schwinn, does NOT have the little fittings to accept machine screws or whatever on the downtube thanks!
comes with 2 screws and fits the bottle securely and it isn't a fight to get the bottle out. I wish they could have put the cutter logo on there. what a sweet mark.
Perfect cages for me. Light but not flimsy these hold my bottles securely, but not so tight I can't get them out while riding. Really glad I got these.
What can you say about a waterbottle cage? It looks nice, holds the bottle securely, and lets the bottle slide in and out easily (you don't have to muscle it around the metal like you do with other cages.
Not much you can really say about a water bottle cage, unless it sucks, and this one does not suck. No falling bottles, and very easy bottle in and out. Buy it, you'll like it.
This Cutter bottle cage does what it's supposed to and is pretty light aluminum. The solid matte black finish looks nice and there is no name or logo anywhere.
