Continental Contact XL Reflex City/Trekking Tire - 2011 BCS
Flat tires are about as much fun as rolling a tire off the bead and crashing into a construction barrier because you failed to completely hop over the rain-soaked South Lake Union Trolley tracks. How about minimizing your flat-tire chances and improving your grip by mounting a set of the Continental Contact XL Reflex City Tires to your favorite city whip? Labeled the jack-of-all-trades amongst the lot of city tires, the Reflex uses a center tread/belt assembly to ensure speed and minimal rolling resistance. The Contact XL Reflex also uses flexible shoulder lugs and sipes for impressive grip when railing through corners—even on your commuter.
- Ultra-fine carcass fabric provides an exceptional ride while minimizing rolling resistance
- Center belt wards off pesky punctures
- 3-plies equaling a total 180 tpi for a ride so smooth you might think you're gliding
- Foldable for added weight savings

Are these tires good for my road bike which I would be using to train for triathlons? I live in New York City so i need tough tires

Probably not, a 700x37 is a pretty fat tire designed more for commuting than training. Look for something narrower. If you need a durable tire get something with a thick tread or with kevlar. Start your search with Forte Strada K's or Conti Gatorskins.
