Columbia Master Of Faster Low Omni-Tech Shoe - Men's - 2011 BCS
Sometimes a name says it all, and the Columbia Men's Master of Faster Low Omni-Tech Shoe is a case in point. (Although we might mention something about the stable and lightweight chassis designed for trail running if you asked about it). A three-part midsole smooths out the shoe's ride through variable and uneven terrain so you can fly in light-and-fast style. Omni-Tech waterproofing lets you plunge through puddles with impunity. Should things heat up, a closed-cell mesh upper allows your foot to breathe so you won't have to sweat the sprint home.
- Omni-Tech waterproof and breathable membrane helps to keep your feet dry while simultaneously helping stifling, sweaty vapors to escape from within
- The Techlite heel positions softer materials directly under your heel for cushioning and puts denser materials toward the outside for stabilization
- Low-profile Techlite midsole creates a flexible, agile feel while reducing overall shoe weight
- Omni-Grip rubber sole digs and grips loose gravel on fire roads and hard-packed trails to provide steadfast footing when you're moving quick

I've hit the trails for 3 long runs in these shoes, so far. I really like them. Very comfortable, provide great support, and have good tread. One negative- the loosen up considerably throughout a long run, so they have to be laced tightly when you start. Other than that, no problems!
