Make your own microclimate inside the Columbia Women’s High Street Parka. This system jacket comes with a removable fleece jacket, so you can add or subtract a layer as needed. When winter temps drop, keep the fleece, which Columbia made from recycled polyester so as to reduce environmental impact. On a wet spring day, all you need is the High Street’s highly water-resistant shell. Open the underarm vents and take off the removable hood should you get overheated while schussing. Wear the cozy fleece around town apres ski.
Bottom Line:
A parka for changing conditions on the ski slopes.
This jacket has made it through a tough Montana winter! I love it, it is nice and warm! Although I have not hit the slopes yet, I plan on doing so, hopefully soon! The only thing that is annoying about the jacket is the inside zippers riding up. But its not to bad. The colors of the black one is black with a white stripe and under the arms is brown. The inside is and off white. Great Coat!
It is water reesistant, and does a bang-up job at it too. The treatment is done at the fiber instead of the fabric... making it softer and more durable

Write your question here...How long are the sleeves? Another similar Columbia woman's 3 in 1 ski parka has reviews complaining that the sleeves are too short. What about this one?
??? Columbia sleeves are rarely refered to as too short by the traditional fit and scale. the length of the body is the only aspect that is varied by jacket model in the same size.
Now I will have to track down the sleeve nay-sayer...
Does the liner jacket actually zip into the shell jacket or do
Does the liner jacket actually zip into the shell jacket or do you have to zip them both up separately? I noticed on some columbia systems jackets you have to zip them up one at a time, I don't really like that.
Most of our zippers are YKK zippers which is the industry leader. Another nice tidbit...all Columbia garments have a lifetime warranty which includes the zipper! If you ever have an issue let Columbia know and they will get you taken care of.
It's pretty warm due to the fact that you're going to stay dry, and it has a fleece jacket inside. If you have a longsleeve shirt on plus this jacket, you should be able to withstand just about any cold temperature.
