Columbia Bugapuff Down Jacket - Women's - 2011

Columbia Bugapuff Down Jacket - Women's - 2011 BCS

Item # COL3183

Double down on warmth when you don the Columbia Women's Bugapuff Down Jacket. Columbia not only packed this jacket with 550-fill down for lightweight insulation, but then lined it with its high-tech Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining, which bumps the efficiency of the down by 20% while also wicking and breathing for comfort. Throw the Bugapuff's eye-catching style and flattering fit, and you have a sure-fire winner.

  • Omni-Shield advanced repellency helps the jacket withstand light precipitation and resist stains
  • Comfort cuffs include thumbholes for extra coverage and to create a no-gap interface with your gloves
  • Abrasion-resistant chin guard protects you from chafing when you have the adjustable hood in lockdown mode on a stormy, windy day

Bottom Line:

Don't gamble on staying warm; go with a sure bet instead.

Dont Buy! (unless you like feathers everywhere)

The jacket is a great fit and is really warm, but it leaks feathers constantly. I have tried to remove the feathers poking through, but it just happens again and again. I have feathers all over my vehicle seats, my clothes underneath even a few floating around my office.

Within a day of owning it the down way all over the outside of the jacket to the point that I cannot get it all off - I look like I just walked out of a chicken coop in the worst way possible - This one is going back :(

It is machine washable and quite warm. it manages heat well and will not overheat very readily. An alternate choice woudl be the Lay-D-Down. both are beautiful and warm
