Chaco flips are the best! I can't even imagine wearing another flip now that I have these. I can even walk the dog in them and I have all the support I need. I would recommend going up a size or a half size.
I want to wear them .....
February 2, 2009
First of all, I have other pairs of Chaco flips, the leather ones and I love them. The arch support is amazing. What happened here? The first time I put these on the webbing rubbed the top of my foot raw and it was a week before I was headed to Hawaii. I only wore them an hour or so. I tried tape on the inside to cushion it, bandages on my foot. It took a week and a half to heal and no I didn't wear them in Hawaii. I'm still trying to figure out how to break in the webbing.
I wear a women's size 7 or 7-1/2 depending on the company.
I wear a women's size 7 or 7-1/2 depending on the company. I haven't worn Chaco's before. Can you tell me how their sizing runs in comparison to Olukai or Teva?
August 20, 2011
I would say to go with a 7-1/2 with flip flops its always better to go up than be too small.
June 1, 2012
I can only speak to the Men's sandals, but all my Chacos run true to size, that is, consistent with the size I wear in my running shoes and other sandals.

These are hands-down the best flip-flops I've ever owned. I spend the majority of my summer in these and I haven't even begun to wear them out. I used to go through at least 3 pairs of flip-flops in a summer and I've had these going on 3 years now and they still look and feel brand new. I've never slipped on the soles, even running down slippery trails. They also have arch support which makes a huge difference when I'm trekking around town exploring.
Double thumbs up
June 1, 2012
Best flip flops ever! They are SUPER comfortable and look great! They don't cause blisters or any discomfort anywhere on your feet!
Is the sole on the red flips brown?
Is the sole on the red flips brown?
December 30, 2010
You are correct. The midsole and outsole are a subtle brown..

I love love love my leather chaco flips and I wear a size 8 in those. I am typically a 7 1/2 to and 8. I went against the reviews saying to size a full size up. But my leather chaco flips I have in a size 8. Wow...the size 8 was too small in these flips. I even compared lengths on my leather flips and these and my size 8 flips were around 1 inch longer. So I WILL be returning the size 8 for a size 9 and I am sure those will be just perfect. Bummer that Chaco can't just to the same length in all their stuff. I wear a size 8 in all my 4 chaco shoes that I have.
May 15, 2012
Just as with all my other Chaco's, I absolutely love these! Love the color, love the fit, love everything about them. I have to remind myself to wear other shoes from time to time :)
January 27, 2005
The sandals were great- made it through 3 weeks of trekking through Thailand and aren't worn at all. They were the first flip flops I've had that didn't give me blisters. A warning though- I bought a previous pair from a different store and the outer strap on one of the flops was an inch longer than on the other one- looks like they should have kept their manufacturing in the US.
Not really a question... but whats up with the sizes topping
Not really a question... but whats up with the sizes topping out at 10?? In the past when looking for most things Backcountry is my go-to place because they always carry every size available, unlike most places. Was there a run on flip flops for chicks with big assed feet or what?
By: Crazy Alice
May 20, 2009
Often these are the only sizes available from the manufacturer.

a little tight across the top
March 13, 2009
They're really cute and fit great on my narrow feet. They're too tight across the top of my feet though. Maybe they need some more time to break in, but comfortable enough to wear around for a little bit. I wouldn't walk around for miles in them.
Great arch support
March 6, 2008
Great pair of flip flops, excellent arch support. Durable, comfortable - some flip flops cause irritation between my toes - these don't. Only drawback is that in the black they are just sort of blah from a style standpoint.
flip flops with arch support
August 7, 2008
With geezerly feet it's been years since I've worn flip flops. Imagine my joy when I tried on my first pair of Chaco flip flops. I can wear them all day and walk for miles in comfort. AND since flip flops are a shoe for the young I fancy they help push me back in that direction. They're the best!

does the keen chaco flip sandal run true to size? i normally wear a 9 in a shoe.. 40 euorpean? c
February 23, 2009
As I said in the June 3 review above, my flips are a size 9, two sizes larger than my Z1 pair, which are a size 7. I had to return the size 8 pair which I bought originally. My big toe hung out over the edge of the size 8. With some chat help from the gear experts, I measured my "big" foot, and we confirmed the measurements of the size 9, and I ordered it. The 9 is a perfect fit. I've worn them almost every day since I got them and they're fabulous. Plenty of arch support. And they look terrific, too. Can't go wrong with Chaco's, only the sizing is a bit weird.
June 27, 2009
Hey Christine,Yes, these do run true to size and they're great sandals!

WONDERFUL FOR PROBLEM FEET
August 28, 2008
These are the best flip flops for support of feet (great arch support) and feel very comfortable. I just bought my second pair in a different color and also a pair for my sister's birthday. We both have feet problems and these are the only flips that we can wear.
April 30, 2012
Excellent sandal's!! Bought these for my wife for here birthday and she loves them. They are her second pair and her first pair still functioning as well as the day we got them 4 years ago! Just a bit weathered is all so got her some freshie's. All in all you can't go wrong w/ Chaco. Highly durable, comfortable, and eco friendly sandal that will last for years to come. Highly recommended!!
Best ever flips!!
February 10, 2012
These are absolutely awesome!! Wore them day & night in Mexico; cannot wait until warmer weather to wear them more regular- I live in Iowa, so it may be a couple months!! Great fit & arch support! Would highly recommend to all!

ok, I go to disneyland every year for three days (cheer competition....not choice) and I can't find shoes that are comfortable. what would be the most comfortable shoe to wear, walking and being on my feet for days at a time?
February 16, 2009
Hey Barb,I would check out some of the line of Keen. They're really comfortable and should be good for your whole trip easily. The only issue is that your footwear might not make you "look" like you belong at a cheer competition:)

My wife loves me
October 2, 2011
Got these for the wife as a peace offering for spending too much on gear. She wears them all the time now. She claims they've even helped her plantar fasciitis with the sweet arch support. Can't wait to get myself a pair.
Love the Flip
October 7, 2011
I love Chaco Flips! I have two pairs because...I can.
September 5, 2011
These flips have great arch support! i wish they were a little cushier, but havng the arch support makes a huge difference in being able tow alk around in them allday
Must have flip flop
August 29, 2011
Love these Chaco flip flops. The arch support is heaven! Probably the most comfortable pair of flip flops I've ever owned and the size is perfect.
August 10, 2011
Probably best pair of flip-flops I've owned. No break-in period, no soreness on the toes, can wear them all day...and I do! The arch support is heavenly. If your looking for a comfortable pair of flip-flops, you gotta get a pair of Chaco's

I was wondering about the fit of this sandal....some people say it is big, others small.....
February 16, 2009
I am 8 1/2 to a 9 and the 9 is perfect!
November 3, 2009
i say the same thing as k99 ... i wear a 9 in most sandals/flips and i wear a 9 in both the chaco flip and the leather flip.
September 1, 2009
For me, I wear a size 9 normally and a size 9 in my Chaco flip-flops...go figure. I'm on my second pair of these, and both fit true to size, at least for me.
June 30, 2009
i am usually a size 10 and find this sandal to be a bit small, but it still fits comfortably. i find the 10 to be acceptable for this as i dont plan on being ridiculously active in it, i just want to use it for casual wear. but other chaco products i would go to an 11

I am addicted to they sandals. this is my third pair... I still have the first pair I've bought from 3yrs ago. they last forever. They are comfortable and mold to your feet well.
every year they come out with new colors that I just can't resist.
My new favorite shoes!!!
July 26, 2011
I love, love, love these shoes!! Can hardly stand to put anything else on since I got them. Am a flip flop wearer all summer long but shouldn't be as they are so bad for you....but these shoes have great support! Couldn't be happier with my purchase and I am pretty picky. They are a bit narrower than other
Chaco shoes I've owned just FYI.
July 16, 2011
Fit perfect I this is my second pair of chacos I'm sure that these will last for some years. Got 2 day shipping for free!!
February 19, 2011
I had purchased a pair of these sandals in 2006 and I
have washed that pair of blue print several times and
they have held up so well. I love wearing flip-flops all
the time rain or shine and I have just purchased the
Black Pair to go with more clothing choices along with
wearing them with fancier dresses and pants. Chaco
Flip Sandals are By Far the most comfortable sandals
I have ever worn in the flip-flop style. The arch support
give you a great feel all day long other flip-flops are so
flat in style or too sponge in style. Chaco are the best
and they do last a very long wearing time. Love them.
My only other feed back would be to request that at a
some point in time they could use a silver, gold or a
bronze pretty print so they could be worn a lot more in
the evening with dress clothing. Now that I've found your on-line site will be ordering a lot more Chaco!!!!
Comfy and supportive
January 6, 2011
I got these for my wife and she loves them. She finally has a flip flop that will not cause her feet to hurt after walking and standing around in the all day. This is due to the arch and heel support the flip flop provides. She wears a size 8-8.5 and these are true to size. I got her a size 8... her feet go right up to the edges and almost look too small but she says they fit perfect. To each their own I guee. I just hope she doesn't get any stubbed toes.
December 26, 2010
Love these sandals. There is no break-in period - they are comfy as soon as you put them on!
Re Whats with no larger sizes for Men or Women?
December 16, 2010
I used to buy lots of shoes on this website for my big ole size 10.5 foot. I can't find anything I like in my size now-( I'd also like to see you carry Size 16 in Men's-and I"m sure there's lots of guys out there who would like some 14-15-16's too! The manufacturer makes them-why can't U stock them???? Cmon, let's see em please? We spend a lot of dough on shoes every year-4 girls and hubby and self-would like to spend our money on BCC if possible. Tx for listening. If any of you out there have big feet PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write in that you'd like to see BCC stock them!

Great pair of sandals
September 10, 2010
So comfortable and lighter than some of my past chaco sandals. Supportive for my arches too! Love the red. Can't beat the sale price either!
August 17, 2010
After reading the reviews and liking the idea of an arch-supportive sandal I purchased a pair. I will continue to use them, but I don't like the sizing as much. The size 9 was almost a little too narrow (and I have narrow feat) and hit on my arch sort of funny. I also got a blister from the strap. Otherwise they are pretty good and I'll try to get my feet used to them. They're much better than walking around in flat sandals all day!
Can't Leave Home Without Em
August 9, 2010
On a recent trip with Chacos on foot, I returned home realizing that I'd left them behind in my hotel room.
Thankfully found these on your site and am so happy to have replaced them.
With great arch support and a comfortable snug fit, I can cruise all day, navigate rocky beach areas, or just hang in my Chacos.
June 23, 2010
I bought an older model of these a couple years ago, (same flip flop but without the awesome tread), and they are hands down the most durable sandal I have ever owned. I literally wear these flip flops every single day. I work in them, play in them, hike in them, and I put these flip flops through more use and abuse than they probably are intended for. I love the arch support, that is a very big plus, especially since i walk around in them all day long.
One thing to note, when i first got them, for a few days the top of my foot was rubbed raw from the tightness of the webbing. However, my feet have high arches so the top of my foot sticks up higher than average. After a few days it was fine (all shoes have an initial "break-in" period). Its nice because even though the flip flops are now broken in, they are still snug, unlike a lot of flip flops that get loose over time. So, if you can just bear through a few days of discomfort, you will have the best flip flops of your life.
Best flip flops
July 1, 2010
These are the most comfortable flips I have ever had.
There is no constant struggle to keep them on and the arch support is great. The first flips I have ever had that I could go walking or hiking in!
June 15, 2010
I wasn't able to wear a flip flop sandal because of my high arches, but these are great. Very comfortable - I wear them with everything. The only issue I have is that they dry out my feet, but that is what pedicures are for right?
May 16, 2010
I was raised on the beach, so wearing flip flops has been a part of my life for many years. I am also a chaco fan, but had never worn their flops. I liked the low profile and am accustomed to the arch support, so I gave them a try. I am so glad I did! I was on my feet all day yesterday in these flops and couldn't believe how good my feet and legs felt at the end of the day. They are not soft like Teva's mush thong, but the cushion isn't necessary when your foot is supported so effectively. Extremely well built and lightweight, they are well worth the money.
May 16, 2010
These feel great and have excellent arch support, but when walking I have to hold them on with my toes or they feel like they will fly off. I've had this problem before with some (but not all) flip flops I've owned in the past. I cannot walk long distances in these even though they are comfortable enough for that. Maybe my feet are just shaped funny. High arches, maybe.
Not the Vibram sole, as pictured.
May 14, 2010
I was hoping to get the old Chaco Flip sole that was in the photo description, but instead it was the new Chaco foot bed. Fine, but not as nice.
Can't live without em!
March 17, 2010
I absolutely LOVE these sandals! SUPER comfortable, not one blister, not one problem... they do run a little big...I usually wear 8s and the 8.5 fit perfectly.
March 4, 2010
I got last year's model an they are nice! Chacos are always comfortable and these look like they're even better with the vibram sole!
March 20, 2010
most comfy flip flops i've ever owned.... they don't make my feet sweaty. they will last forever!
Work like a champ
January 3, 2010
I love chacos. Have the usual style. Now I'm expanding into flip. They have that fantastic footbed that my body thanks me for. And they're the only flip sanctioned by the American Podiatry blah blah blah. The only thing I would ever change about Chacos is the smell. They're the smelliest shoes I've ever had. I have to wash them with soap and water every couple weeks. Other than that, I'm amazed about the stuff I do and the lengths I go on Chacos.
best flip flops i've ever owned
November 10, 2009
i heart these flops. i had to stop wearing flip flops because they didn't provide enough support for my flat feet and made my achilles tendinitis even worse. but i missed wearing flops in the summer, so i bought these after trying on a pair and feeling the support. they are AWESOME! i don't regret buying them...i only regret not buying them sooner. i wish the weather was warm all year round so i could wear them all the time. they're very durable and they grip rock pretty well when hiking around and they're cute. i always bring them with me to the crags so i can put them on right after getting off my tight climbing shoes. highly recommended!
November 6, 2009
This is my 3rd pair of Chacos and i love em! Need i say more. They give me the support my feet need and are light weight. I am flat footed and can't wear regular flips so these work great!
November 6, 2009
This is my 3rd pair of Chaco flip flops, need i say more! I am flat footed and have foot issues so i can't wear regular flip flops these are super comfy and since i live in Texas i wear them year round.
Flip-flop that won't slip-up
October 6, 2009
These flip-flops have the awesome footbed of a Chaco sandal, with the convenience and style of a flip-flop. Most flip-flops are soft, spongy, slick, and flat. Not this one. It has great arch support, and a super grippy rubber sole. No weak, slick foam here. I wear the same size in the flips as I do in the Z/1's and Z/2's, but I sized from 7.5 up to 8. It's a flip-flop that's actually good for your feet. Nice colors and patterns, too. I wear these year round (snow on the streets permitting).
October 3, 2009
I'm a Chaco fan anyway, but wanted something quick to put on me feet to run outside and play with the dog or do yardwork, but that would stand up to months, possibly even years, of wear. I believe the flips are it. I've had them only a month, but now they're the first pair of shoes I reach for no matter what I'm doing. Great fit (true to size), seem durable, and I never got an uncomfortable hot spot from the strap that most flip flops give me. Solid.
flipping for my Chaco flips!
September 24, 2009
I love Chaco flips period. This is my 8th pair. So same kind just new color. They are my favorite foot apparel ever! I wear them daily all year around. They are well worth the money because they last forever. I still wear the ones I bought originally over 5 years ago. I am already looking forward to seeing next years styles. You will not be disappointed.
I love these!!
July 23, 2009
I exclusively wear flip flops and cowgirl boots and I can't even believe I never owned these!! Great support, super cute, and all that a girl would want in a pair of flips. Sizing seems to run a bit on the low size-so if in doubt perhaps go up one size.
July 10, 2009
I was looking forward to getting a comfy, yet funky pair of flip flops this summer, but the size 10s just didn't fit properly :(
July 1, 2009
These are my favorite sandals. They was no need for a break in period and they have great, comfortable arch support. I've worn these for a day at the zoo, shopping around town, walks to the park and my feet have not ached at all. A welcome relief from other sandals I've worn.
I like them so much I bought my sister a pair for her birthday and my mother a pair for Mother's Day.
Best shoes ever
June 30, 2009
I'm on my second pair of these, but they are by far my very most favorite shoes ever. I have high arches and have to wear orthotics in my hiking boots, running shoes, etc. but these Chacos give me just as much support, plus the grip of a running shoe (or at least a really good technical sandal). I walk between 1-6 miles a day in these to and from the bus stop or to and from the office, and could easily walk even further in them if I needed to. They may seem pricey for a flip-flop, but they're worth every penny. I'm on my second pair (puppy chewed the first a couple years ago, otherwise I'm sure they'd still be going strong), and they're wearing great, two years in. They're also great if your feet sweat b/c the suface is non-porous (to the naked eye, anyway) and these don't smell or get spongy they way some flip-flops do if you sweat in them. And if they do get dirty or stink, you can just scrub them off in the sink, no worries.
Fit: I wear a 9 in my Vasque hiking boots, North Face running shoes, and other shoes generally speaking, and the 9 works fine for me in these Chacos. My feet are on the narrower side of a regular width, but they seem to work okay for my mom, as well, and her feet are size 9 but wider.
June 12, 2009
This is my third pair of Chaco flip flops. Unfortunately, these flip flops do not mold to your feet--they are hard rubber and do not give. Even ordering them a 1/2 size bigger, the strap does not give, so, if I wear them too long, they feel tight.
My new go-to flips
May 28, 2009
These are great sandals. I've been wearing the same tired old flip-flops for about six years because I couldn't find a pair that was comfy enough to replace them, but replace them these did! I had to break in the straps a bit, but no blisters, just some minor rubbing the first two times I wore them. I normally wear a size 6 in dress shoes and sandals and a 6 1/2 in athletic/hiking. I got a size 6 in these and they fit just fine. They are not heavy and my feet do not slide around in them when I walk. The footbed is very comfortable and provides amazing support for a flip-flop. I will definitely buy another pair.
Way, Way Small
June 3, 2009
My other pair of Chaco's (Z1) are a size 7.
After reading all the reviews, I decided to order the flips in an 8, just to be sure. To my surprise, the 8 was too small!
Most of my shoes are between 7 and 8 depending on the brand. With sandals, and especially flips, I want some footbed sticking out there to protect my big toe, which is, while not excessively large, tends to stick out where it doesn't belong, and it gets stubbed easily. No fun.
I returned the 8 and ordered a 9. They are perfect! Plenty of room, and no stubs yet...
Chaco Flip Sandal
Merebea Danforth x4236
May 21, 2009
These are hands down the best casual flip flops out there. The newer sandals actually have a non-marking sole by Chaco instead of Virbram soles. These are the most supportive flip flops I have ever worn, and the sole's not going to wear out in half a summer like many other flippy floppies I've had. These are well worth the extra money.
April 27, 2009
This is my first pair, and I love 'em. The arch support is great. I have become a loyal customer to Chaco's and to Backcountry for life!
quite the perfect flip
April 6, 2009
I can walk on slippery wet asphalt, icey stairs, and sandy asphalt...all the while I have not slipped once. The traction these flips give off is fantastic.
Only when I get too excited and my feet start to sweat that the undeniable "swish shish" happens with every step.
Speaking from years of wearing tevas an such,,,I am almost positive that the toe hold will never actually break away from the sandal right in the middle of a frissbee game. I am chaco for life!
Love Chaco, but not their flip flops
March 23, 2009
I hate to write a poor review for these Chaco's because I personally love the company. I also own a pair of z/2's and z/1's both of which I love. However, the flip flops just don't do it for me. After extended use, they make my feet hurt. The straps rub on the top of my foot, and because of this, I hardly ever wear them anymore. They sizing, for me, was the same as my other Chaco's, which I would highly recommend. This product, sadly, has proven to be sub par for me. The up side, however, is that they are both durable and made well which can always be expected with Chaco.
Shoe of the Summer
January 26, 2009
Comfy, supportive flip flops. Chaco does it again!
most comfy sandals ever
December 29, 2008
these are so comfortable! i must warn you though, the first two times i wore them, i got a blister on the top of my foot from the strap. however, after two or three times they were completely broken in and the most comfortable shoes i own. and i have a lot of shoes
I flippin' love 'em
December 3, 2008
I absolutely love chaco flips. I used to always wear the chaco sandals because I was under the illusion that they were more supportive than their flips. The flips are just as good, with less bulk. I ignored the reviews of them running small because I have the leather flips in size 9 (I usually wear 8.5-9) and they fit just fine. The flips are slightly (ever so slightly) smaller than the leather flips, but I'm glad I didn't get the bigger size. Yes, they are a little narrow, so if you are in the upper range of the 1/2 size scale with a wider foot, size up.
December 9, 2008
I was a little skeptical because I don't tend to like nylon between my toes on flip flops but these ones are so comfy! I love the arch support and comfort of the soles. It's time to toss my other flip flops!
December 1, 2008
so, I was told I have plantar faschitis (which i totally spelled wrong right there, but since i find everything irritating about it, including its spelling, I'm not going to change it.) and I'm supposed to wear shoes "with support"... now, for most people, they would regulate themselves to sneakers and the like, but I live in SoCal, so i need to be able to wear flip-flops 90% of the year. The Chaco flips can be worn because of their amazing support and style and everything! I love them. They are a little narrow, but I just make sure that I go up a half-size... I love these shoes!
Best flips ever
November 29, 2008
So a few years ago, I spent a couple of weeks backpacking around Europe in 5 Euro H&M flip-flops. 6 countries later my feet (and the sandals) were in sore shape. If only I'd known about Chacos. Just get them, your feet will thank you.
Flip with Finesse
October 10, 2008
From a style perspective, I love these flips! Very sleek lines, extremely comfortable footbed, and ultra light weight. But, they also have excellent tred, and are quite grippy on the rock in and out of the water. Even wore these occasionally to boulder around in slot canyons on the Grand Canyon last month and they high performance! They are sturdy yet playful, and very relaxing to unwind in at camp at night. Love the colors and variation in styles, and the shape and cut of the straps are perfect. Often can't wait to put these on after a long day ski touring or hiking and climbing outdoors.
only for the narrow footed...
September 26, 2008
As my first pair of Chaco's, I was disappointed in the fit. It seems this sandal was designed for a narrow foot. The arch didn't come close to matching with mine. May try a men's for the width.
Can't get enough flips
September 8, 2008
Absolutely love these shoes. They are comfy and cute. I am usually on the large end of an 8 1/2 and I wear these in a 9 cuz I prefer a little room in my chacos. Just bought a pair for each of my bridesmaids to wear during my wedding in November. The snowpea will look great with their green dresses.
June 18, 2008
Great arch support and grip. They were REALLY small in size, though. I had to return my pair and exchange them for the next size up. Even those are a little snug but seem to be breaking in.
Great Arch Support!
June 11, 2008
I agree with all that said they have good arch support. My shins start to hurt after wearing other flip flops that don't offer any support. These are so comfortable, I wear them whenever possible. I usually wear a 7.5 and I went down to a 7 and they are perfect! I didn't have any blisters after first wearing them, the straps were a little tight at first, but have loosened up and I would recommend them to anyone! I'm considering getting more colors!
July 16, 2007
This is my first pair of flip-flops in years. I had not bought any due to the fact that I have high arches and all the other flip-flops I have worn gave my feet no support. I decided to try these because I have the Chaco z/2 and have worn them for years. I love these flip-flops. They give great support, very comfortable, and they look great! Highly recommend them!
I love these shoes

They're great! Just as comfortable as traditional Chacos but more stylish with the flip flip style. The textured foot bed help keep your feet from slipping around, especially when they get wet.

You can never go wrong with Chacos. Great, lightweight sandals with good support (for a flip flop). Your staff was also incredibly helpful when I had some trouble with UPS shipping. Definitely recommend the sandals and the store!

Love my Chaco's. This is my third pair. They are expensive, but with the lifetime guarantee worth every penny. After Katrina, they were the only pair of shoes I had evacuated with. They got a lot of miles and muck. Decided it was time for a new pair even though the old ones had plenty of life left in them. Would not choose any other brand.

They ROCK! After a day of coaching swimming for 4 hours a day, my feet don't ache and I'm still ready to GO!

I love these flips. I live in flips practically year round. I love the arch, the durability, and the look. I'll be getting more!

I wear my Chacos all the time as a river guide. I prefer the flip over all, they are the most comfortable. I have worn them on 8 mile hikes into the desert climbing on rocks that people in hiking boots have a hard time with. They have all the grip of the Z/2 and Z/1, with even more comfort.

Being pregnant in this heat & humidity has made me a flip flop junky. And these are the best!!

These are by far is the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I didn't need to break them in. These sandals were ready to wear. I love that!! One thing though, they do run small, I usually wear a 9 and had to order a 10.

Oooh! Comfy sandals. I wouldn't use these for hiking, but they are great for steppin out and for strolls around the neighborhood. A barely there type of shoe.

Oh yes, Oh yes! Thats what my feet are saying. I spend my time in or on the water fishing or sailing. Those sandals take it all and then look smashing as I go out to dinner in the evening. What more could you ask from a totally functional sandal. And that the investment is worth it.

Love it, looks great, soles aren't that sticky, might be cool if Chaco made a flip that had the five ten rubber on the bottom (which is the stickiest rubber i've come across for slippery wet rocks).
Arch support in a flip flop!
August 16, 2005
I didn't think it was possible to find flip flops with arch support. I have three pairs now: one for the gym, one for out and about and one I use in the house as slippers. I hope Chaco keeps making this product and adds more with this footbed design/arch support.
chaco flips great choice!

These are awesome I wear them every day. They do run a touch small. I am excited to order another pair.

I love my new sandals. Just as I had read in the other reviews they really do come already broken in. Also, they are great working for working in the yard or any other dirty work. Just hose them off and they're good as new. So far they seem to be indestructible. This was my first pair of Chaco's but they won't be my last.
Rugged yet comfortable

I bought these flips before a trip I knew would entail alot of walking. I wore them everyday...super comfortable and my feet never felt tired.

I love these flip flops! I have very high arches and have never found a flip flop that I can wear non-stop--until now! I can wear them all day without any discomfort. The shoes did take a few days to break in--a little toe-rub. I've purchased a pair for my husband (he has flat feet) who loves them, and my mother (who has high arches too). They are worth the $$$.
