A Transworld Good Wood winner, the Burton Un..Inc Snowboard rips through the park as smooth as bacon in the frying pan. This exclusive Burton Coalition twin tip is soft enough to press boxes and rails, but isn’t afraid to break out of the pigpen and shred natural features on the hill either.**DISCONTINUED**

Bottom Line:
An exclusive Burton board that pig roasts the park.
The Uninc is really a snowboard to measure others against. Great mid-stiff flex, even though one might mistake it for a noodle based on its "park" marketing. The elevated wu-tips on the stick does significantly improve riding through pow or chop. The ICS/EST thing tends to polarize opinions as either a great innovation or Burton money grab, but I for one think it's pretty neat, the icing on a great cake. Very poppy, very light, and it's the last year of the Uninc so it's something of a collector's item, despite its terrible graphics. But that's why you have diecuts. Buy it.
I bought this board off brociety and it was a great deal. If I could do it over I would have held out for a different board. Excluding the ICS the board is great. I can ride switch and regular equally and it handles great anywhere on the mountain. I have stuck some of the sketchiest landing in my life on this board. However, the ICS bindings are horrible. They are a niche market and really are not compatible with regular bindings. When adjusting them I had to eye the angle and placement. I like being able to take off my bindings when I want. With these I'm nervous to because I will have to spend another F*cking hour getting them how I like them. Also, on the mountain the entire binding started sliding. First, I was worried that if I lost any piece of the hardware I would be screwed for the week. They don't sell that Sh*t anywhere in the world except on the internet (I live in Europe so that's at least 2 weeks in shipping as well), second the hardware cost about $50, and third I had to tighten them so much that I don't think I can even undo them. I have never had to put that kind of force into hardware just to keep a binding from shifting while I rode. Overall, don't buy this board based solely on the binding system. After reading reviews on a lot of boards I am positive Burton pays people to come onto these sites and leave good reviews. F' you burton.
This is a killer fore those who like an agressive board in the slopes, backcountry and gives you alot of comfort and power in you take-offs at the really big kickers. my best pick
Yeppers. 08/09 was the end. Burton is gonna replace with "Easy Livin" series. You should watch Brociety.com to snag the last of the un inc stuff on the cheap!
sick board. hella fun and super poppy. Holds an edge real nice and is good for jumps. you can shred it pretty much anywhere. Throw some ests on there... oh baby. I have found the conversion disc works on unions.
The uninc 158 fit's me really good. The twin board with directional flex is craving for speed when you bust backcountry kicker's. A stabile board that is really agressive. Best board i have ever been riding.!
I have the 159, great board overall, its pretty a do anything board, I bought it for a stiffer alternative to my Ride DH. Its good in pretty much all conditions, I noticed the nose cuts nicely through choppy pow and floats as well as any other cambered board in powder.
Solid in park performer as well, perfect stiffness for park kickers. I really prefer my Ride DH in the park though, its better for jibbing and has a little different pop I like. I use my Un...inc for more off piste stuff due to its stiffness and length, I really recommend this board.
I dont know about the other problems that people have had with the board breaking but burton should cover that in their W48 warranty. Never had any problems with mine, i've ridden over some nasty rocks and the edge has stayed very strong, probably the strongest edge i've ever had. Hope that helps some people.
This is hands down the best deck I've ever been on. Unreal pop and soft feel that holds strong at high speeds. Great for back country booters and wedges, jibs well, and performs in the park and pipe!
I have/had last year's model of the UnInc. This board is great for all over the mountain but really shines in the park. It has a lot of pop and is forgiving when stomping the booters. The only downside is that it really doesn't stand up to constant abuse. I broke the tail on my 12th day out this season. If your the type that really gets use out of their season's pass, save some extra bones and go for one of Burton's stronger boards.
i have a 158 uninc from last year, their really good feeling decks, a nice flex for rails but not too soft so you can still hit booters with confidence. i suprising really enjoyed myself on powder days too they float nice. i think the base is shit, i have several core shots from random stuff that my buddies also ran over and their bases hardly got a scratch. my board delaminated in the tail also, like opened up so i can touch the wood inside with my whole hand. i have no idea how this happened but needless to say my tail broke right away once the wood got wet, but all boards would do that. burtons trying to lock you in to buying their bindings with this est shiz. i wouldnt recommend this deck, for as much cash as your gonna pay for new bindings, you may as well go get a rome or endeavor deck, which are sick btw
