Love this coat!!!

By:

Used ths coat for everyday wear, a week of snowboarding in the freezing temps of Maine and at our local mountain in eastern pennsylvania. It's fantastic all around! It keeps you super toasty on the cold days but not sweltering on the warmer ones. Also has tons of useful pockets and I love the arm cuffs. They keep your hands warm if your not even wearing gloves and help keep the snow out if you are. Only problem I've had is the zipper pull broke, but since it's burton, and they have a great warranty, I called them up and they're sending me a new one free of charge! Highly recommended, buy this coat now!

I would go with the XS that will allow room for layering and natural movement.

FAVORITE JACKET - MUST BUY!!

By:
December 15, 2011

I just got this jacket and matching pants and I have to say that I'm extremely happy with the selection. The combination will really let you stand out on any mountain. This jacket is lightweight, has more pockets than you can count, and full of awesome features. To be honest, I got it cuz it looks SICK and the price was insanely reduced because it is last season's jacket. It is a bit baggy but that just leaves plenty of room for layers. The only thing I would like to see improved in this jacket is better insulation. It's a light jacket which means light insulation. Not a big deal cuz there's plenty of room for more layers underneath. I love this outfit and can't wait to hit them rails!

Amazing

The lining is super warm yet ventilated. I love the velcro seam along with the EXTREMELY bright colors. I have the red and blue model and the red does not look pink in person. Im also diggin the exposed metal zippers they seem stronger and of higher quality (as this is one of burton's top of the line jackets). The retractable pass pocket is handy so you don't need your lift ticket dangling about. Your resort may not let you put a LIFT TICKET in, but probably a PASS. I would sum this up as a top of the line convenient jacket.

Awesome jacket

By:
December 1, 2011

I'm 5'-5", 130-140 lbs and the Small fits nice just like the TWC is supposed to. Jacket graphics are super nice and its not bulky at all! Wrist gaiters are a bonus as well. Note that the media pocket can be accessed without unzipping your jacket (velcro seam) which is cool. Can't wait to take it out on the slopes!

Just to be safe I would go with a small so you have enough room to layer and have a bit of room for movement.

Anthony,

This style of jacket is made to have a baggy fit, so buying your normal T-shirt size is a safe bet.

Happy trails!

Best jacket ever

By:
March 30, 2011

This was the absolute best jacket I ever had and although I didn't have that many I let my friends borrow it and the even loved it. It's size is perfect and is loose enough if you need it but is easily tightened and stays perfectly in the same spot. The features on this jacket are absolutely amazing, but the absolute best feeling of the jacket is the fact that it's satin on the inside silky smooth and that it is perfect for just random warm mountain days as well as perfect for very cold mountain days because it is a light jacket that's not bulky at all but then is made perfectly for the cold. Lastly it is perfect for any other gear that u want to add on with your look!!!

How does the jacket fit? Fit to size or a little bigger? I'm 5'3 and about 130 pounds, was wondering if I needed a size Small or XS.

Very decent jacket

By:
January 9, 2011

My jacket arrived in the mail yesterday. Looks pretty sweet and has plenty of features. Only thing is it doesn't have the linkZIP jacket-pant connection like the product details says, which is pretty disappointing coz that's one of the main reasons I bought the jacket.

reasoning behind this is because the linkZip is patented by volcom.. every company had to discontinue their zip to pant feature, sucks yes, but good on volcom!
