AWESOME

This jacket is absurdly awesome! I am so happy I decided to pick it up. It's so comfortable and warm I can't believe it! Burton really knocked it out of the park with this one. I've always been a huge fan of their company, and this just secured the deal. I'm around 5'10" and got the large, and it fits perfectly. I wanted it to fit a little baggy so I can look cool in the park and it does just that. I look so damn steezy in this thing.

The gore-tex is top notch, definitely worth the money. I went to the Utah Humane Society the other day to play with cats at Kitty City and got distracted by a wonderful pup named Thanks. The volunteers (they are so nice!) let me take her out for a walk around the shelter. It had just snowed over a foot in the valley so it was like a winter wonderland out there. Thanks was playing in the snow/mud/poop combo on the ground and kept jumping on me. It was getting everywhere! Thankfully, I had on my Burton Prism Gore-tex Jacket to keep me dry and warm. Although, after I was done with puppy play time, I was covered in mess. What a predicament! But, alas, it was so easy to clean! I just grabbed your typical common household sponge and wiped it off, threw it in the dryer, and BLAMMO! It was as good as new! The dog fur, the mud, the poop, the snow, it was all gone! And it smelled wonderful. I couldn't believe it.

But in all seriousness, it's an amazing jacket. I would recommend it to anyone.

LOVE IT

Received this in the mail last week - it is BEAUTIFUL. I chose this jacket for it's fit, waterproofing and awesome colours (i got the Hotstreak Colourblock). I ride mainly in Australia, so I need the Gore-tex!

I'm 5 foot tall and usually wear a size 12 womens (australian sizing) in clothes - I could have fit into the Medium of this jacket but chose to go with the Large for the extra room for layering and comfort. It's definitely a bit long on my (mid thigh) but I usually have to tuck up my jackets, so this doesn't bother me.

The jacket has 6 pockets all up, so plenty of room for storage. The extra length in the sleeves plus the wrist gaiters is much appreciated as well. The material around the chin is soft, and sits high enough to keep the cold out without suffocating you - only issue: the hood isn't separate, so once I get on snow I might not be able to cover my neck and chin as well. We'll see!

All around happy with purchase and I can't wait to try it out on snow!!

Competitive Edge

Fully taped GORE-TEX® 2L fabric and light, zonal mapped insulation with optional venting gives this pro-pick extended range from sub-zero mornings to sunny spring sessions. Bold colorblocking and a longer, more forward thinking fit create a look that's often lacking in outerwear of this caliber.
