Burton No Fish Snowboard - 08/09 - 2008 BCS

Item # BUR2497

Burton teamed up with BCs Noboard crew to develop the No Fish Snowboard—a powder board designed to be used without those movement-hindering binding thingies. By using a grippy pad instead of bindings, the No Fish allows you to move around and ride like you were on a surfboard. Just like the Fish, this Burton board includes a fast Sintered WFO Vision base and responsive Powder Fly II wood core. The No Fish also uses an S-Rocker to combine standard and reverse-camber shapes for a unique ride on the white waves.

Bottom Line:

Bindings? We don't need no stinkin' bindings.

Can the plate really be taken off and be used with bindings-or can you mount bindings on this? And how is the plate mounted-will taking the plate off ruin/ scar the board all up?

Hey there

Unfortunately there are no inserts under the NoBoard for binding mounting.

I am very interested in getting a noboard, sounds like a super fun, creative, and new way to enjoy the snow. The Burton Noboard looks great but I noticed they only have the 155cm length in stock. My boards are usually all-mountain between 161 and 165 cm in length. Does anyone know if the 155 would be the right size or too short? Thanks a lot.

Hey JChap,
Thanks for getting back to me quickly. I am 6'1", 180 and have been riding for 13 years (since I was 13). I plan on going with a longer board the next time I get an regular board, but I think that, as you said, with the rocker and fish tail I should be good with the 155- do you agree? Plus, it's a hard deal to pass up. Thanks for the help.

Hey Timothy,

Without knowing your height and weight its a little hard to say. However, the way this board is rockered,as well as the tapered tail, the 55 should work just fine. Most rockered boards allow you to size down around 5cm, add a tapered tail on it and you're good to go.

Does this board come with a 3 hole pattern drilled into it? In other words can I take the no board pad off and put it on another board, or take off the no board pad and put regular bindings on the fish, or is it all one molded piece?
