Burton GTwin Snowboard - Women's - 08/09

Item # BUR2451

With the help of influential freestyle riders Anne-Flore Marxer and Natasza Zurek, Burton designed a women's-specific snowboard that absolutely rules the terrain park—the GTwin. This revolutionary board now comes with Burton's ICS system to provide you with all the binding adjustment options you could possibly want. A Park Fly II wood core ensures plenty of pop, and Pro-Tip construction slims down the tip and tail for reduced swing weight. Burton's Dualzone EGD provides precise board feel on icy pipe walls and sketchy transitions while the sintered Vision base gives you gap-clearing speed. If you love the rails, you'll be happy to have the burly 10:45 sidewalls and durable Infinite Ride construction. *We have no control over which color base you receive. It's up to Lady Luck—good thing she's a benevolent wench. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line:

Jumps, rails, pipes—rule it all.

The Gtwin is pretty stiff. If you weigh 130, I say run it. Great deck, you'll have a good time for sure. It will hold up with out a doubt.

Good overall board

By:

This is my second board this season, and overall it's a good board. If you want the ability to carve with speed and get some mad air over the park jumps. You want to land this board. They are right about the ICS system, it's great! It's customized for Burton bindings but you can place regular bindings on there too. My only qualm with this board is I like an insanely fast board, and although this board performs, my Nitro T1 is significantly faster and provides a more challenging ride. Depends on what you like, but I hope this helps!

yes! this is an awesome women's board and will be good for all conditions. Many riders choose twin shape / park style decks to ride all-mountain.

In fact, most pro riders choose a twin tip deck like this for all-mountain riding.

ENJOY!

The Gtwin is actually a bit stiffer than you think. It will work anywhere on the mountain. This is a great board, if you too skeptical then check out the Feelgood es, http://www.dogfunk.com/snowboard/BUR2439/Burton-Feelgood-ES-Snowboard-Womens.html

Me Likey

By:

I have the feel good and I snagged this one day for $111 on backcountry... I figured I was an idiot NOT to buy it. I rode it and felt like a new woman. My feel good is a 149 and I got this in a 150- it is great in the park, spins nicely, makes buttering easy, is super flexy, and I rode 2 feet of wet pow pow yesterday and had a great time. It was a litter slower than the feel good... but the mountain we were on was pretty dinky so that may have been a factor.

Get this board, you will like it a LOT.

P.S. I am 5'6" 140 lbs for size referencing

Snag this board

Road this board everyday for a week, and I can not get enough of it. Dominates the park scene, but when I got caught off guard with a pow day and hung on the groomers, it did surprisingly well too. Has great pop and butters smooth, and can rip down the rest of the hill if need be. Plus the graphics are just so unique! Ohhh and you will be loving the new Burton unlimited stance options set-up, works amazingly with my 08'Escapades...thanks Burton!
