Burton Executive Jacket - Women's - 08/09

Item # BUR3347

Call your assistant and tell him you’ll be out today. Then zip up the Burton Women’s Executive Jacket and hold a one-woman board meeting in the pow. This jacket takes the business of weather-blocking very seriously—refer to the 15K-rated waterproof fabric, light Thermacore insulation, and fully taped seams for examples. Burton stocked this jacket with plenty of features to satisfy your no-nonsense approach to snowboarding, including underarm vents, a pass pocket, and a goggle pocket. When you spot a colleague lunching at your favorite post-ride restaurant, cover your snow-encrusted, windblown hair with the Executive Jacket’s removable hood—it converts to a stylie hat.**DISCONTINUED**

Bottom Line:

The Burton Executive Jacket—for babes in the business of boarding.

Great Jacket If You're an Orangutan!

By:
August 24, 2010

I don't know what the folks over there at Burton were thinking when they designed this jacket. The sleeves are MILES too long - the powder skirt is cut so small it cuts off circulation, and the jacket itself is cut straight up and down. Movement is not easy in this jacket. It's such a bad deal that BackCountry should pay for the return shipping! Bottom Line: If you're an orangutan built like a stick figure who likes to snowboard, then yeah! - go for it!

I agree, I just got the medium and I'm sending it back... It's way too big for me. I'm going to try for a small, and if that doesn't work then I give up. I'm not even going to go for a third time for an extra small.

Hello, I was wondering if someone could please send me measurements

Hello, I was wondering if someone could please send me measurements (under the arms/across the chest, across the abdomen, and the bottom of the jacket, along with the length down the center back and the inside arm length)? Please?

Thank you!

OK my last question before I buy this jacket (I promise).. So

OK my last question before I buy this jacket (I promise)..

So my current Burton jacket is a Sig Fit. It's a Medium, fits me well, not too baggy but there is room for layering.
This executive jacket is a Team Fit? It's bigger accross the chest and arms but I have a small bust and waist so should I get a Small? I don't want to be swimming in it...
I've looked at the size charts but I just want another opinion b4 I buy..

Also what does everyone prefer the white or faded black jacket?

Check the pics that Sierra has with their models (buy it here though) haha. It is Team fit but doesn't look abnormally huge. However, I think you could size down if you want it more fitted. You'll be psyched out of your mind on this jacket, I would get the Faded Jaquard/ Tiedye Black, seems to be the standout colorway for this piece.

By:
August 16, 2010

Nicely insulated, high quality material, very waterproof, and the style is cute...i dont see any reason not to buy it, espeically at this price. I would wear it for boarding, skiing, and even street wear! true to size, i am 110 pounds and 5'2, usually wear a Small, and this jacket in small fits perfectly.

Sick jacket.. runs long

By:
August 9, 2010

Runs big..well long I should say. I am 5 foot 8 115lbs. I ordered a medium and the sleeves are all the way down to my fingertips. Jacket is awesome and hood is so cute but plan on rolling up the sleeves or getting a size smaller

This is what Willis was talkin bout

By:
March 17, 2010

This jacket is the best. I've had it for the whole season this year and other than it getting dirty easy (I have the white one), I love it. I just cleaned it according to the directions on the tag. As for it taking on water, I haven't had that problem. I get lots of compliments on it each time I ride. I haven't used the hood because I wear a helmet, and was stoked that the hood zips off. This jacket has everything I could ever want with pockets, hand gators and the powder skirt.
What's even more awesome is I have yet to see someone with my jacket when I ride. In that case, this jacket sucks... HA!

Is this insulated for cold say 10-20 degree F?

yeah, It has 40 Grams of insulation which is not a ton, but fairly decent.

On really cold days you may want to throw on a bonded fleece/hoody or some thermals. However, most days you should be golden!!!
