Functional failure

I commute to work on a bicycle. This little hip pack appeared to be ideal to carry my cell phone, keys and wallet. Simple layout, low profile, clean lines, subtle color, understated, nice. Too bad the molded plastic buckle system does not couple together securely. A light tug on the straps is all it takes to cause the clasp to disengage. Not going to trust this system to keep my valuables secure around my waist while navigating LA traffic on a bike. This is not a quality control issue, it is a design flaw. In conclusion, I like the look but form has to follow function so I am off to find a better buckle. PIA
