Big Agnes Two Track Pad - Rectangular

Item # BAG0125

The Big Agnes Two Track Rectangular Pad insulates you from the frozen ground, so even if your teeth are chattering as you pitch your tent, you'll get a good night's sleep. The foam-insulated Two Track comes in two thicknesses for differing conditions. Big Agnes rated its 1.5-inch pad at zero degrees Fahrenheit (4.5 R-value) and rated the 2-inch pad down to minus 25 degrees (6.5 R-value). Use the EZ-Flate valve to add more air to this self-inflating pad. Slip the Two Track into the back sleeve of any Big Agnes modified-mummy sleeping bag.

Bottom Line:

Sleep comfortably in your winter camp while on top of your Big Agnes Two Track Rectangular Pad.

Better than Thermorest

By:
May 16, 2012

I purchased one of these for my kids to use while camping, but I have used it on a few occassions. It works quite inovatively with Big Agnes bags, but it really is a star performer due to its comfort. blow it up solid then get into your bag. adjust the valve control to the level of air to your liking. I find that once you achieve your level of softness that the pad feels much softer and lacks that air blob feel that my 20 year old thermorest has. definitely worth the money.

Yes, this is what you're looking for, these will fit perfectly in the Whiskey Park (25"x78"). And a good deal too! These are really comfy pads.

Comfy Camping

Not much to say about this pad other than the fact that it really does its job! It is quite thick so you can rest assured knowing you're not going to feel rocks and other debris below you while you sleep, but it also completely rocks in extreme temperatures. A nice feature is that it comes with a small repair kit sewn inside the protective bag this pad comes with.

I have the large/wide pad but I want to fit it in bike panniers.

I have the large/wide pad but I want to fit it in bike panniers. can the pad be folded in half (lengthwise) before rolling to reduce the width (but increase the thickness) when rolled? Will folding cause any damage to the internal structure of the product?

yes you can .. if you can . This pad may be a bit tough to fold the way you want but it certainly will not hurt the pad. If your looking for something more compressable try the Big Agnes insulated Aircore.. super light super pacable.

Great Pad. Easy to inflate and deflate. Channels distribute air evenly, so you don't have any low spots.

Hey Alfred,The long pad is 20x78x1.5, while the wide pad gives you an extra 5 inches making it 25x78x1.5. Hope this helps!

Big Agnes Two Track Pad

By: Departmentofgoods.com Employee
May 28, 2009

I'm really excited about my new Big Agnes sleeping bag and pad. No more rolling off in the middle of the night! I chose the Two Track because it is a reasonable weight and rolled dimensions for a bit of backpacking, though I'll primarily be using it car camping. I wanted something that had a bit of foam in it, and the little time I've spent on it so far it's been very comfortable. I have the 1.5" thick pad and it all but eliminates the slightest of pinching feeling when lying on your side, unlike my .75" piece of foam mat. I know I will be a lot more comfortable now, both on my Big Agnes bag and my other sleeping bag.

It truly is an ingenious sleep system, and I have the rectangular bag and two track pad as well. Ensure that the valve on the pad is toward the head, and just let air out until you feel comfortable! (I sleep on my side too, makes it tough to find good comfortable equipment)
