yea,it's a insulator not a waterproof shell jacket.
you should worn a Waterproof jacket in heavy rain for three hours.

This jacket is not meant to be waterproof. You should be very impressed that a super lightweight nylon shell held off heavy rain for three hours. It's an insulated jacket that's meant to keep you warm, not a rain jacket.
