Backcountry.com Merino Hooded Shirt - Sleeveless - Women's - 2009 BCS
Bridging the gap between functional layering piece and urban-ninja radness, the Backcountry.com Womenís Merino Sleevless Hooded Shirt goes from yoga class to bouldering gym to coffee hangout gallivanting your guns all the while. The close-fitting and ridiculously-soft 17.5-micron merino wool begs to be worn next to the skin, and since itís from New Zealand you know the wool comes from a well-cared for sheep. Pull up the hood when the evening chill sets in, and thank the stars for merinoís natural odor-inhibitors now when your climbing gym crush follows you out of the coffee shop.

It's really soft, and mine didn't show through. I wore my green one over a green merino bra, cool on a warm day downtown in Boston. At outdoor restaurant, hood kept me from getting sunburn; ideal. Added a shirt over this hoodie, when evening was chilly, and that's when merino is so amazing: Cool on a hot day, toasty warm with another layer over it. Keep making these, please, Backcountry folks. I dyed my green one a darker green, after a lot of use, just for a change; and dipped my tomato one in coffee to make it darker, just for a change. Good colors. Give us blue? Thanks!

def a little see-through & baggy around the armpit, but for working out, who cares... if not, better (armpit-wise). I got a medium (due to warnings in the other reviews about it being a snug fit) and am 5'2", 120 lbs; fits perfect.the tomato is a great color!
