Arc'teryx Rho LTW Zip-Neck Top - Women's

Item # ARC0582

Soft, itch-free merino wool makes the Arc'teryx Women's Rho LTW Zip Top warm and comfortable on chilly days. This all-natural top insulates in a wider range of temperatures than a synthetic shirt, and its lady-like cut flatters your feminine figure. Wear it alone on a fall backpacking trip or as a layer on powder days—even when this long-sleeve top gets soaked, it retains its insulating ability. Best of all, its inherent odor-fighting properties keep the après-ski funk to a minimum. Using Arc'teryx's no-lift gusseted underarms, the Rho LTW allows a free range of movement with a close fit. A collar zip helps you ventilate, and the laminated sleeve pocket stores a key and a twenty, so you don't lose them when ditching layers. *Available for US shipment only.

Bottom Line:

Regulates your temperature, fights that ripe backcountry smell, and accentuates your girlish figure.

Great Top...if you can get it on sale

I got this for my girlfriend off of SAC. She loves it. They tend to run small so you might want to go a size up. From what she tells me it feels great, keeps her nice and warm, but also breaths well. It is a little pricey, but considering that it is merino wool its not so bad.

This top is really warm considering how thin it is. The cut is fitted but allows lots of movement. I'm 5'4, 135 and the small is tight. I wear it almost everytime I go out now that winter is here! I definitely recommend it.

Love this top

I love this top, it keeps you extremely warm for the weight. I've also worn the Patagonia capilene heavy weight underwear, and this top is much warmer than the patagonia stuff. The fit is pretty tight, size S is usually loose on me, and the size S here is quite snug.

Not What I was hoping for

By:
February 7, 2010

I am tall (5'11) and bought the large. It was barely a fit out of the box, and after hand washing in cold, it shrunk. Now the sleeves and torso are too short. Fabric is pretty good in terms of weight, but it's not as good next to skin as other wool pieces I've tried (Icebreaker, Smartwool). I think that it was meant to be stretchy performance wool but I don't find that it's as stretchy as some wool pieces I've tried that are not touted as 4-way stretch.

Great fit....a little prickly

I received this as a gift and tried to wear it, but it's just a little itchy. I'm just not able to wear this against my skin. If you usually like wool gear, this shirt is for you. It fits very nice on the body.

Very cool
I bought this for my girlfriend and I comment on it every time she wears it. It is attractive and she certainly wouldn't wear it if it didn't feel right or didn't keep her warm.
