Arc'teryx Phase SV Hooded Top - Women's - 2010 BCS
You dream of finding the ideal base layer for aerobic stop-and-go activity on frigid alpine days, but it never occurred to you that this very shirt could also be a hoody. Fortunately, Arc'teryx's designers dreamed up the Women's Phase SV Hooded top. It boasts supreme moisture management so you don't get a case of sweaty shivers when the wind kicks up, it stretches like a champ, and it features silver-ion fibers for built-in odor control. A sleek, smooth outer face glides under your other layers and a fuzzy interior provides plush insulation.

I've never purchased any of this brand because the price was always a little out of my budget but I saw this on sale and figured maybe I'll give them a shot. The weather is too warm at the moment for a performance review but as far as size goes, I'm really glad I read the reviews and sized up. I'm 5'1" and 130 lbs. I normally wear a small or xsmall depending on the manufacturer and I ordered this in a medium because other reviews said to size up. It fits perfectly. Fits like my smalls normally would fit. I say that because I was almost afraid if I sized up it would be too big, but it's not too tight and not loose. I tried it on over a tank top and I'm confident I could wear it over another really thin base layer if needed. The only thing that caught me offhand was the detail around the collar/hood. I ordered the graphite and in the picture the detail looks like a light gray or white, it's actually a really pale blue. I'm not complaining, I just didn't think it was blue. It's really light, the hanger I have it on weighs more. I can't wait until it cools off to try it out.
