Here is a picture of the fleecy side venting material, which exists from just below the armpit to the waist... Its not shown in factory photos and not clear to everyone that this exists on this jacket... This is obviously the men's hooded version of the jacket in the picture but I wanted to make a point since its a great feature, and to let the women know too about the venting as well...

I ordered the vest because the Atom jacket is unbelievable. The vest is the same sleek appearance and fantastic feel: warm and insulating without any puffiness, and allows great freedom of movement. I ordered the Bondi Blue which is a nice color without being too strong. I am practically always a size medium, and the medium was perfect for me.

Great Vest

This vest is a very nice weight, light enough to be worn as a layer under heavier jackets. It has an athletic fit - slim, as Arc'teryx products tend to be. Overall, a great vest and a nice addition to the wardrobe.
