66 North Iceland Vindur Hooded Jacket - Women's

Nice jacket. I'm 5'10, 160, and I got the large in blue. Very windproof, pretty comfortable. Only complaints are that the pockets are a little high/placed sortof awkwardly, and there are some big seams on the inside that rub against you. For the most part the inside is soft. Good coat though.

I was looking for the perfect "in-between" jacket that would be the right balance between stylish, casual, and sporty - this IS the perfect one! It is great for unpredictable MN weather - zipped up it blocks the wind and keeps me warm, and when the weather suddenly warms up I unzip and it's a great light jacket. Looks like a sweater but fits and performs like a coat.

I was really excited about this jacket. I was hoping to replace an older wool, fleece lined jacket that had started to get a bit ratty. The Vindur looks great and appears to be high quality. Unfortunately, the seams on the inside are not flat or covered by anything so the wool from the outside of the jacket is poking through on the inside. This doesn't work for me as I'm highly sensitive to wool, and the seam at the collar attaching the hood was itching my neck like crazy. This wasn't a problem on my old jacket, as that seam is covered. So, if you're sensitive to wool and don't want any of it touching your neck this isn't the jacket for you.

This is a beautiful jacket. I wish I could buy another for my daughter because she grabbed it and wore it the entire week she was home from college over thanksgiving but I dont think they have any left at Backcountry (we bought black and white)! Its VERY nice looking on, the quality is superior, the colors are perfect. I would easily buy this again and will look for other products made by this company. The only thing I wish is that it was a bit longer but its good for layering because anything you wear that is longer , sticks out from underneath , Its not a jacket you would wear alone in the winter, its great with something on underneath if you are out walking . It doesnt stretch and move with your body either so this is not a jacket to wear running or cross country skiing. It looks so great on that I would wear it to church or a resturant. Hope that helps!
