More than I expected!

After seeing how much 66 North costs in Iceland I thought I'd wait and find better prices in the states. The sizes of 66 tend to run a bit small (for me) even though I am petite. I absolutely LOVE this sweater. It has been worn in cool and cold weather and it does well for both. The wool is naturally water repellant. Every time I wear it at least one person comments on it. I have the red one. It is simple yet nice enough to wear going to a business conference. Wish I had the black too! Definitely worth every penny.

66 North may cost more, but you get much more. Best sweater ever. 66 North runs a little small (about a half size), so you may wish to order one size larger if in doubt.

Unless you want to wear this skin-tight or even just against your skin, order two sizes up especially if you have a large chest or slightly broad shoulders.

I got a 66 north fleece and it's a little snug and I usually always wear a small. Depends on how snug you'd like to go. I can wear a Tshirt and the fleece, but it's a LOT smaller than my TNF small fleece.

It is a little itchy but so worth the $

I bought this sweater a few years ago. Can't believe the steal of a deal. It is really light weight, fits perfect (I'm a size 14 bought the XL). It's super warm. I walk my dogs in the winter and can usually get away with just wearing this sweater down to -15 C.

My only complaint is that it is a little itchy on the arms if you're wearing a short sleeve shirt under. Wear a long sleeve shirt.

This sweater is extremely well made. As soon as I put it on, I feel warmth. The front design around the neck is very stylish. The zipper lays flat. The tag states 75% virgin wool and 25% polyester. It is rather scratchy and will undoubtedly drive some people crazy but at least the collar is lined in silky soft fleece. I'll wear this outside but it's not cozy as say, Columbia's Fast Trek which I'll always reach for first.

I only wish the rest of the sweater was lined in the same fleece. Then it would easily serve as a cold weather jacket and feel great on the rest of your skin. If it was fully lined and had two small pockets in the front bottom, I'd pay retail.

I read other reviews that mentioned size issues. I bought a medium which fits OK for my 32D and broad shoulders. I hope it doesn't shrink.

Looks are deceiving

The small is super-tiny. Worse still for me, the garment made me very itchy. The wool didn't agree with my skin!
